I never wanted a pickup but when my little car was totaled in a rear end collision I chose to take my husbands old pickup rather than buy a new shiny car. I am the foster home coordinator for a dog rescue and a horse owner so a random pup and a pile of horse blankets are both likely rear seat occupants. New car smell is not something that last long with my lifestyle.

I inherited this little pick-up from my husband when my cute little VW was rear ended and totaled last fall. I have three large dogs and a couple of horses so a shiny new car with a big payment was not something I wanted to deal with or keep clean. My husband had owned this truck for a while but prefers a small car to commute to work in.
