I like the truck's capabilities including cab space, color, torque, and overall driving experience.

The Tundra gets great mileage for a truck -- we've seen ~25 mpg on the highway. It's reliable, partially because it uses older technology (our windows are rolled up by hand). We've done regular maintenance on the truck, and beyond that, we've had no issues with the motor or other components. It's also a nice size. Big enough to carry a large load -- we've used it to transport construction materials -- and pull some campers but not a huge gas guzzler. It also feels safer than very large vehicles, which can have bad visibility and feel too wide for many roads. It has a good safety record. The 4WD is reliable. We live in snow country and use it all winter. It's a very practical car to have in the mountains. For us it's irreplaceable. It's 18 years old and, therefore, has a low blue book, but it still runs perfectly and looks good. A new truck would cost tens of thousands and probably get worse gas mileage. The only drawback is that the seats are uncomfortable.
