This pickup is nice looking and drives well. It has a great turning radius and provides a smooth ride. The main cabin is comfortable for a family of four with plenty of leg room in the extended cab for children or adults. The radio and front dashboard features are user friendly and highly functional.
Historia
We have a blast taking this vehicle on family camping trips. The bed of the truck is great for hauling all of our supplies and also makes a nice area for relaxing once camp is set up.
A Favor
I have had no mechanical issues with this vehicle. It is built well and functions well with minimal yearly maintenance requirements.
En Contra
The only negative aspect about this vehicle (as with all larger trucks and SUVs) is that gas is more expensive.

Its four wheel drive and it has definitely got me out of some tight spots. This truck actually drove over large rocks and climbed some pretty steep hills. Ground clearance is great as long as you don't add running boards. The engine and tow capacity are an added bonus. So far I have been able to tow a 8500 pound trailer without weight distribution hitches which is not recommended. However it can be done.
Historia
Yes, was out hunting and decided to try and find a new spot. This meant giving the four wheel drive a test. What a blast, I was able to climb hills and drive over some serious terrain. I was able to use the 4 low and the 4 hi. Down side of that trip though I damaged my running boards and added some new pin striping to the paint.
A Favor
Tow Capacity, 4x4, Crewmax cab, 5.7L engine. The crewmax cab is very large and comfortable. It has more room in the back seat than most four door passenger vehicles. I have been told that the ride is very comfortable back there. With the tow package you get a wire harness to plug your brake controller into. No wiring cutting or splicing. I had it done in less than five minutes.

Gas Mileage, sucks. Granted it is a 5.7 liter engine. But even Chevy and Ford get better gas mileage on the larger engines. The gas pedal needs a slight adjustment. Its electronic and not cable to throttle driven. Not sensitive enough to changes. You either go to slow or you take off like a bat out of hell.
