Reliable and gas efficient vehicle
I've owned my Toyota Yaris for about a year now and have been very happy with it. It has had no major mechanical problems and gets great gas mileage! I've been able to get about 36 to 38 miles per gallon on a regular basis! One downside that I have noticed is that it is a little loud, especially when speeding up. I can occasionally hear the transmission shifting, so it's not quite as smooth as I would prefer. But overall this has been a good car.

Reliable, compact vehicle
I love this as an economy car. It fits into any space, so it is great for urban parking. It has great gas mileage, and I was actually surprised about how well it picked up for the size of the engine.

As dealer was a rental car facility that was releasing old inventory, we were permitted to rent the car for a few days with the rental fee being included into the cost of the car if the decision was made to purchase. Sufficient time and freedom to check car by family, friends, and mechanic was excellent, as was the ability to actually test car's performance in a variety of driving settings.
