Jetta Wagon. Just okay.
My 2011 Jetta wagon is a reliable car, fairly quiet on the road, and has very good pickup. There have been no major breakdowns or mechanical problems with this car. The only issue I have with it is that it is slightly uncomfortable. There is inadequate back support and I seem to sit quite low behind the wheel. The interior leather seats have survived 2 dogs and 5 grandchildren and still look like new. The windshield scratched early and easily which has been an annoyance.

Still a solid car
They brought the price point on the Jetta down to be more competitive, but this is still a solid car. I am up to 50,000 miles with very little maintenance and no engine trouble. The car handles very well and does not rattle at all even at highway speeds. They did skimp in some marginal ways. The interior materials are of lesser quality than in previous iterations of this vehicle. The stock tires are decent but not great, so if you live in a northern climate you might have to consider snow tires in the winter, which was not the case for me with my older Jetta. The fuel mileage is still good. I commute 30 minutes one way. Even with rush hour traffic, I think I still average more than 30 miles to the gallon. Though having a five-speed likely helps some with this. The fiberglass body components are lightweight but very expensive to replace. I got rear-ended, and it was more than $1,000 to replace the rear panel. I was prepared for a bigger dip in quality point when the sticker price dropped below $20,000, but I have been pleasantly surprised thus far. The car is paid for, and I am very much hoping to get another 100-150,000 miles out of this engine. I would buy another Jetta. Oh, and the trunk will fit two hockey bags and sticks, for all the hockey dads out there.

The salesman first off was very nice and considerate. He didn't pressure me into any car I didn't want or felt uncomfortable with. The sales person also listened to my needs and didn't try to trick me into any gimmicks. The car I bought still runs great and I highly recommend them.

They had a 2012 Beetle during model year 2014 that was still brand new! They offered me a great price on it and I was treated wonderfully.
