2014 Volkswagen Jetta - Great car for the money
This is a really great vehicle! It has everything I need and is very reliable; it has never let me down or left me stranded. It is pretty inexpensive and you get a great product for a reasonable cost.
Historia
Tried to put a 55-gallon wooden barrel in the trunk! I had already paid for it, so I needed to get it home! DidnÕt even come close to going in the trunk! After a lot of acrobatics and having to drive with my knees in my chest, I realized you can put a 55-gallon barrel in the back seat of a Jetta.
A Favor
The gas mileage is fantastic! I can go about 450 miles on one tank of gas. I tend to get over 30 MPG on the highway. Very low maintenance; I have only had to do the standard maintenance like oil changes, tires and recommended maintenance. It goes 10k miles between oil changes. I can use regular gas, not premium. Lots of trunk space.

ItÕs a standard model without a lot of bells and whistles, but it has everything I need and is a great looking car. The cup holder does not stay intact and has fallen out of position. If you lose something under the seat, itÕs almost impossible to get out!
2014 Volkswagen Jetta - 2014 Volkswagen Jetta: do your research first.
I've had this car for a couple of years. When I bought it, it had 11 thousand miles on it. It currently has 60,000 miles on it and it's getting loud. The faster I drive, the louder it gets. It's getting to the point that if I'm driving on the interstate, it's difficult to hear someone talking on the phone. I didn't realize until the first oil change that it doesn't take regular oil but it requires synthetic oil which adds to the cost. It also takes expensive anti-freeze which was over $60 dollars for one jug! This anti-freeze isn't found in all auto parts stores either. I didn't know this until I spent a couple of hours trying to hunt it down.
Historia
This is a great car for transporting dogs to the beach. I've done this several times with several dogs. Seats wipe down easily. Back windows roll down extra far making it easy for dogs to get fresh air.
A Favor
The car does get good mileage on the highway. Most of the time, it gets good gas mileage in the city too. The air always works great and when set at the highest setting, will freeze you out in no time at all. The windshield wipers has this ability to automatically slow down when you come to a stop or red light. The sport gear truly makes the car drive sporty and has to be tested out to be believed.
