2007 Ford Edge - I'd buy ten Ford Edges if I could

My 2007 Ford Edge is one of the best cars I've ever owned. It just passed 100,000 miles and I'm just as happy with it now as the day I bought it. It's very roomy, accommodating up to 5 and has a roomy cargo area that can easily fit all the things my wife, son and I need to take to the beach for a week each summer. The look of the car is very sleek and the dual moon roof is one of the main reasons I bought it. It has great get up and go and is really sharp looking, inside and out. Other strong points for the Edge are the great price, great gas mileage, and how tightly it handles.
Story
Last year, my wife, son and I went to see the fireworks display on July 4th. We drove out onto a golf course near our house. We found a place with an unobstructed view of the sky and opened the dual moon roof and had a fantastic view of the fireworks.
Pros
The look of the car and the dual moon roof are the main reasons I wanted to buy the car in the first place. It gets great gas mileage and I haven't had any non-routine maintenance issues with the car so far. The standard tinted windows look great and help keep the car cool in the summer.
Cons
It can be hard to see out of the car, understanding how long it is when I'm backing up, for example. The A/C has a hard time keeping up with the roomy interior, folks sitting in the backseat are often hot in the summertime. The backup camera became standard just a year or two after the 2007 model. I wish I had been able to get that.

2011 Ford Edge - Unknown truth.

This vehicle is great as a family vehicle. There is a lot of space in the backseat for kids or young adults to be comfortable. The complete leather interior makes it easier to clean after a toddler or pets. The back seat can fold down in two different segments which helps if you have a full load in the car. The gas mileage is decent for an SUV. Some of the parts are only manufactured by Ford so those repairs can become expensive.
Story
If I take my dogs to the park with my son there is more than enough room for everyone to fit comfortably and have their own section. Mom in the front, kid in the back seat, and dogs in the back.
Pros
It has a larger gas tank than my previous vehicles which is more convenient when driving long distances or waiting to fill up when gas prices are lower. The digital center console is easy to use and gives a better connection and control over the features. Dual settings for air conditioning have reduced arguments in the vehicle. Being able to put the back seats down allows for more storage space. The amount of major repairs in the first 100,000 miles is minimal.
Cons
The roll bar in the car is only reinforced on the drivers side, giving less structural stability to the passenger side. The hapless has tank can wear over time causing a fume leak that will leave your check engine light on. It is a known issue that around 80,000 miles the door what sensor is faulty with the part only being produced as the whole locking mechanism and only carried by Ford resulting in $400-$600 repair per door. It is not 4 wheel drive and does have some issues when driving in icy conditions.

Amazing customer service, every employee I spoke too was extremely professional. They showed me tons of options in my budget and did not try to be deceptive like most car salespeople. They treated me fairly and lowered the price of the vehicle I had found when I showed them a competitors price on it. I was very impressed and I will shop there again for my next car.

The people were very helpful. They helped me find the right vehicle at a price I could afford. They were not pushy, and gave me many options to choose from. There was a wide selection of vehicles that fit my desired price, and the payments were very reasonable. The location was close to home. I will be going back to purchase my next car at this location.
