2014 Ford Escape - Reliable and comfortable driving
It was reasonable priced as a used vehicle. It came with a good warranty. Although it is slightly noisy, it isn't so much that it is bothersome. It has been reliable with few issues. I have driven it long distance, and it is a comfortable ride. Buying one new comes with a lot of options. I have material seats, which are hard to keep clean, and I would not recommend. It is the perfect size car for traveling with my two huskies.
Story
Traveling with my huskies across country. It was a total of 25 hours across 1,700 miles. I thought they might be cramped in this car as I had owned an Explorer before, but they seemed to really enjoy the ride and be completely comfortable. This made moving across country so much easier!! It was easy getting them in and out of the car.
Pros
Reliable, size and affordable. Automatic locks, sun window, voice system.
Cons
Material seats and slightly noisy.
2005 Ford Escape - Very good and reliable vehicle.
I love driving the Ford Escape around town and even on vacations. It is a very reliable vehicle and would recommend the this any of my friends or family. I am planning on getting a new model after next year once I get another car.
Story
I took my family out to see their grand parents a few months ago, and we had a great time camping.
Pros
Has great gas mileage on the road. Rides smooth when coasting on the highway. The battery life lasts for quite awhile. I can fit my family of five in the whole car without any problem. The trunk opens up towards the top.
Cons
I read that the transmissions sometimes go out quick in these cars. The brakes need to be changed more often my older car. It gets hot inside the car pretty quickly in the summer.
