2015 Ford Escape - I love my Escape!
I love my Escape. I decided to upgrade from a Focus Titanium for something a little bit bigger. I got a fantastic deal on a 2015 Escape and all the options I wanted. It feels luxurious with my leather seats, navigation, and awesome wheels. It drives like a dream. Despite the SUV warnings, it handles quite well at high speeds and really has some get up and go. I prefer to drive it in sport mode, since it feels peppy. The gas mileage has been pretty good in the city. I haven't had much opportunity to drive it long distance, but am planning a cross country trip next month and I can't wait. The Escape has significantly more room than the Focus. I really like that it's stylish and feels a little more grown up, but fun at the same time. To me it's a luxury vehicle.
Story
My dogs love my vehicle. They are always excited to go for a ride. I strap them into their harnessed seatbelts and roll down the windows and they are happy as clams.
Pros
Comfort
Electric (heated) seats
Back up camera w/ sensor.
Sport or normal mode
Back seats recline
Cons
I have trouble with my Nav from time to time. Although it's likely user
error. I don't have any cons really. I love my Ford.
2015 Ford Escape - Pretty solid
So far nothing has been needed with the vehicle. The performance is better than expected. The transmission is not smooth often even on slower acceleration the transmission is jerky. It has been on a few 4 hour one way trips and daily 40 round trip commute and it has had not problems. In traffic it can weave through or crawl no problems.
Story
We drove this car from Texas up north and it drove like a champ and hauled everything we needed it to.
Pros
Doesn't require premium gas like most turbo cars. It has good acceleration. Lots of interior space and pretty comfortable seats. The seats fold down really easily. Does have what looks like a full size spare in the trunk. The power drivers front seat has lots of settings to change for your comfort which is really nice on a long trip or time consuming commute.
Cons
The sync is very frustrating some of the time with connecting your phone. There are also way too many buttons on the radio making it look messy. Some plastic pieces are a bit flimsy. The windows do not automatic roll up.
