I love my vehicle. It is small enough to be efficient and easy to drive around town, but also large enough to use as a truck and move things. I can fit my bicycle in the back, so it remains safe and secure. I can comfortably sleep in the back or fill the back with camping accessories and camp outside of it. I've never had a problem packing for a trip, and even drove three other friends and myself all the way across the country. The ground clearance is excellent and rarely gets stuck on regular dirt roads. I do not have four-wheel drive, but again, it is rarely necessary and traction control actually helps quite a bit.

The Ford Explorer is a great family car and has many positive aspects. It accommodates third-row seating and a rack on top for extra storage. The build and shape of the car is simple and can accommodate almost any situation. If kept in pristine condition, the engine will run forever and there will not be any problems. For being a large SUV, the gas and mileage is exceptional. I am an avid camper and outdoors person, and the space in this vehicle suits all of my needs. I am able to fit all of my camping gear and even an air mattress inside with the seats laying flat, which makes it extremely convenient. The interior is very easy to keep clean, and the seats stay in great shape over time as well. I would not want to choose another car as my first family SUV, it has been a lifesaver. One of my major concerns with a vehicle is the space in side and how well is accommodates a large toddler car seat. Well, this vehicle contains my son's car seat and all of his necessities, with room to spare.
