I love the usability of my truck and how much I can haul with very little gas used. I use it for both work and on my family's farm. I have hauled hay and livestock, and pulled trailer with no issues.

The 1999 Ford F-150 V8 Triton I purchased didn't let me down. Even though it is going on 15 years old, the truck runs smooth with perfect alignment. Never once did have I had transmission problems. The truck was built like American vehicles used to be: solid, sturdy, and safe. Mine came with a camper shell which I highly recommend. Since I took ownership, all I've had to do is add some power steering sealer. That aside from regular oil changes, and it is still running great. I only wish I had another. As far as noise, I though it would be a lot louder. Instead it is quiet as can be. I bought the V8 which has all the power I need, and it is very good on gas as well. Plenty of room as well with the Crue Cab. The air conditioner did go out, but that was just do to lack of Freon, which is to be expected on any vehicle. I believe the lack of a radiator cap is unusual, I am used to checking on the coolant level, but with this truck just check the reservoir. I would recommend a F-150,especially one of the earlier models, which I feel, were some of the best vehicles ever produced.
