After test driving multiple trucks, I decided to buy the 2016 Ford F150. The motivating factors were the look and performance of the vehicle and the connection that I felt with the workers at the dealership. It was also important that the sales manager was willing to work with me on getting to the price that I wanted to be at. The only maintenance that I have had to perform on the truck are the basic oil changes and tire rotations. I am also comfortable driving in the snow, and the 4x4 system is performing as expected. The five-foot bed has provided all the room that I have need to haul various items. I even loaded three yards of mulch.

The best built truck in America, hands down. The build quality is superb. Even at 10 years old, the truck could be mistaken for new. Very little rust. The interior is the roomiest of any vehicle I've owned. The truck has the power to haul a load, in the bed or behind. The 4.6l Ford engine is bulletproof, and they're everywhere, do when you eventually need repair parts, they'll be available and fairly inexpensive. I can fit bikes for the whole family in the bed, without mussing about with complicated bike racks!
