2012 Ford Escape - Perfect for the hockey family!
My son and my husband both play ice hockey, so, when looking for a car cargo space and AWD were the two top items required. I didn't want a huge SUV since I also do quite a bit of city driving and something more compact was a better choice for parking. I looked at all the small SUV's and the ONLY one that was able to accommodate two full hockey bags, plus suitcase, plus my family was the Ford Escape. Story
Driving past other stuck families getting to a rink. After I delivered my family to the door, I drove back down the hill and "rescued" the stuck ones!
Pros
Storage space in the cargo area. Heated seats. Reliability. AWD is great in a bad weather.
Cons
None.
2015 Ford Escape - Ford Escape
I like my Ford Escape, because it is easy to drive and maneuver, and it has very good and flexible luggage space. Also, the navigation system and touchscreen works well. The dog cage fits well into the trunk space.
Story
We like to have car picnics when out hiking with the dog. We take the car to Bear Mountain sometimes, and it is fun to take on day trips. It's is a good, all-round vehicle.
Pros
BLISS system. Touchscreen navigation and entertainment. Easy to maneuver. Good luggage space. Easy to fit roofers and box for skiing or travel.
Cons
Rear passenger legroom could be better. Catch on tailgate is a bit sticky. Fuel economy is terrible! The color of the upholstery.
