Honda Element Owner Ratings & Reviews

2004 Honda Element - Enthusiastic
I particularly like the distinctive design and look of this car. It is recognizable on the road and in parking lots, where 90% of the cars look alike. The car can be customized to carry almost any sporting gear and has a high center for off road use. The back seat is elevated so riders see more than just the back of the seat in front of them. The car is surprisingly roomy and can carry lots of stuff. I particularly like that the back seats flip up for longer items. I have been much happier with this car than with previous sedans and SUVs.
Story
We had tickets to an event and had to drive through a snow storm to get there. We were one of a handful of people who made it there and so we got a private showing of the event.
Pros
Versatility and great in snow. My favorite feature is the back hatch which can open either half way or pull all the way down. This care is easy to clean, peppy on the road, easily recognized in parking lots and good off road due to the high carriage.
Cons
Not great gas mileage and a small tank means filling up more often. This car has a pretty bad blind spot to the left rear of the driver that means that you have to turn a look before changing lanes, etc. Due to the oversized front window, the sun visors are pretty useless.
2003 Honda Element - Proud to own a car this convenient
I like how the car looks very compact from the outside, but is very spacious on the inside. There is nothing I dislike about this car.
Story
This car drove me from my old home in Connecticut to my new home in Florida, and I slept in comfort by laying the seats down flat. My element made my road trip that much easier.
Pros
Some of my favorite features are how the back seats flip up against the walls of the cars so that the inside transforms into a pick-up hybrid, and also how the seats all lay flat together so that you can camp in comfort.
Cons
The acceleration is not the best.
