I used to own a F-150. I got it because it was the only option when I had a workshop and needed cargo capacity. I've got to say that this truck was reliable and powerful. I used it to deliver heavy equipment from state to state, never had a trouble with the engine or transmission, the suspension worked great, I remember that I used the cargo capacity to the fullest and never had a trouble. There were some noises inside the cabin, nothing that you could not live with, but it was always there. It came with the factory stereo and speakers, they worked fine. I'd say that I traveled with that truck for at least 100 thousand miles and it did not have any mechanical problems. The only thing that I see as bad was the gas consumption. I am not a bad driver, but I feel that in the city the truck just needed a lot of fuel.

The truck handles great, gets very good gas mileage, and is quieter than most cars I have ridden in. I like the fact that the bed door has a built in step and handle for easy access in and out, especially when loading things.
