The quality of this vehicle is actually great, in relation to cost. It's an inexpensive car to drive and own. Gas mileage is fairly good in the city (23mpg), great on the highway(30 mpg.) Acceleration and handling make it a fun, sporty choice for young drivers. It's not very comfortable for long road trips, but the size and handling make it ideal for city driving. Vehicle maintenance and cost of repair/upkeep is relatively cheap, and actual repairs are rarely needed. When repairs have been necessary, it is such a common car that there's no trouble finding parts/repair shops. While the Focus has plenty of room for two adults in the front, getting a baby in and out of car seat in the backseat is a bit of a squeeze. The trunk is large, and the back seat folds down to create a fairly good-... (more)
Story
While the Focus is best for city driving, I have several times taken it off-road while camping, and it handles it well.
Pros
The best feature of this vehicle is the value and quality relative to cost. It's cheap to buy, drive and own.
Cons
Not enough space for a small family. The cabin in the Focus is crowded if there are more than just two adults in the front.

This is a great commuter car or car for a student. I bought it several years ago and used it for my commute to school and loved the gas mileage, that it was easy to parallel park and maneuver through traffic, and that it looked nice. With regular maintenance it has handled the long miles well. At around 150,000 miles, 100,000 have been mine. No major mechanical issues in that while time. The interior is basic, but serviceable and perfect for what this is. An affordable, reliable car that looks nice and runs great. That being said, it doesn't feel quite as solid as it used to when driving, and has started to be noisier when driving - despite being cleared by the mechanic. The trunk is surprisingly spacious, but when I started having kids I couldn't fit their bucket seat style car seat i... (more)
Story
I drove from Washington to Oregon in this little guy - so scenic and didn't break the bank at the gas station!
Pros
Gas mileage, maneuverable, and affordable.
Cons
Small interior is not suitable for car seats, starts to sound clunky when you rack up miles.

From looking at a vehicle to leaving with it took about three hours including taking it back home for my wife to look it over as well.

I had heard via friends and family that they were excellent at finding the best lenders for a vehicle and their in house warranties were great as well.
