2008 Toyota Corolla - Great commuter car

This has been a great little commuter car for me. It has wonderful gas mileage, so it is the car of choice on long trips. The car is also easy to drive and maneuver.
Story
My mother and I once went to Ikea when I was about six months pregnant, and we bought a lot of stuff, including two memory foam pillow tops to add to existing mattresses. I was able to drop the back seats down and fit everything into the car!
Pros
The things I really like about it is that it gets good gas mileage, about 32 mpg freeway, and 28 mpg city. The size is about right: it isn't too tiny, but can get in and out of moving traffic easily. It is nimble and maneuvers very nicely, and can do a U-turn when you need it or can squeeze into a small parking spot. I also find the seats to be very comfortable, which is difficult for me since I fell and fractured a vertebra. The trunk holds a lot, much more than my old SUV did.
Cons
The front passenger air bags are currently under recall, so everyone has to sit in the back seat. I have a small child, and putting a car seat in the back really cuts into your visibility in such a small sedan car. My particular car is white, and it grows algae under the mirrors, around the gas tank door, and around any decal. I also have a bit of lichen growing on the roof! None of this comes off in a soft touch car wash.

2010 Toyota Corolla - As standard of a compact sedan as they come.

This car is fairly par-for-the course, without much in terms of bells and whistles, but much like it's history and predecessors, it runs reliably and efficiently for as long as you have it. The interior is nothing special and a bit weak on spacing and accessories, but everything you'll need access to (cup holders, AUX input, climate controls, etc.) are intuitive and easily accessible. It runs fairly well without any hiccups or issues at 60,000 miles, though the acceleration is a bit weak on inclines, and will never improve. The primary downside is when you'll inevitably park it in a large retailer parking lot, and realize there are a dozen cars that look exactly the same as yours. Yours will of course be the last one you check.
Story
Driving through a borough west of Seattle and watching a pack of raccoons cross the crosswalk.
Pros
Reliable and tend to run practically forever. Good above average fuel efficiency. Comfortable seats with a good range of recline, while still having fair back passenger space. Back seats fold down easily for trunk access, or larger items in the back. A/C works great and cools down fairly quickly.
Cons
Acceleration can be a bit weak. Bumper is prone to dents and dings and spatial awareness of it can be deceptive. There are a few recalls to be aware of, and others done the line possibly. Seats sit a fair bit lower than other models. Two fairly small cup holders in the front with no room for expansion.
