This car gets amazing gas mileage. The interior is small, but the seats are very comfortable, and the cloth upholstery is easy to clean and has an awesome design. The design is just enough for you to notice but not in your face. The back up camera is very high quality and even shows the warning lanes and changes with the direction of the steering wheel. There are automatic headlights and Bluetooth SYNC technology. The dash gives you warning notifications when you need to change the fuel and when the windshield wiper fluid is low. Both of these things are very helpful. There are several cons to this car. The car lacks a middle console, so there is nowhere to rest your elbow or arm while you drive or to store things. This car also doesn't have cruise control, which is a huge pro... (more)
Story
I took a road trip across America in this car. Best experience of my life.
Pros
Back-up camera, fuel economy, upholstery, dash notifications, SYNC, drives smooth, and automatic headlights.
Cons
No cruise control and no center console.

2013 Ford Focus - I am unhappy with the way the vehicle drives due to a bad transmission clutch.

I enjoy driving this car when it runs properly. Due to the fact that Ford put a dry clutch in these models, there has been a lot of issues with the vehicle. In 3 years of driving, I have already had to have the transmission reprogrammed 3-5 times and the clutch replaced 3 times. If it wasn't for the transmission problem, it would probably be a good vehicle. It just makes it scary to drive knowing there are transmission problems. Not knowing when it is going to act up again.
Story
It was comfortable to take on a long distance trip one time. It seemed reliable at that time. This was right after we got it.
Pros
I like the idea that I can sync my phone to the car. Therefore, talk hands free if need be. The trunk is big enough to handle large tools if need be since my husband is a self employed carpenter. I also like the fact that the rearview mirrors on both the drivers and passenger side defrost when the defroster is turned on. This saves time and energy in the winter time.
Cons
The main negative is there are so many mechanical things that have gone wrong with this vehicle in such a short time. The vehicle was only 1 and a half years old, less than 20,000 miles when the heat/air stopped working. Then right after that is when we had to have the first transmission clutch replaced.
