One of the Best
The 2014 Ford Focus is an exceptionally proficient vehicle for anyone looking for a basic sedan at an affordable price. The interior is roomy, comfortable, spacious, and stylish. The dashboard is easy to navigate and simple, a plus for anyone who likes a more minimalist user experience in driving. The technology included is very functional, including automatic windows and a great-sounding stereo system. In terms of the build and engine room of the vehicle, the Focus neatly balances style, size, and muscle in its package. The four cylinder engine provides a profound amount of horsepower and torque for the size of the car, a rare feature for the notoriously mediocre drivetrain Ford provides. The transmission is smooth, seamless, and responsive to acute changes in power output. To complement that, the car seems to have a low center of gravity and a wide distribution of street-to-wheel surface area contact, allowing the car to handle very well both at high speeds and in non-ideal conditions. The frame is sturdy and clearly built to last a long time. After a year of use, the Focus has not required any major repairs beyond oil changes. The trunk has plenty of space for luggage and storage. I transport large items such as bikes and musical instruments. I also particularly like how easy the car is to use and how compact it really is for its caliber of power and resiliency. One thing that I don't favor is the seemingly limited technical abilities the car provides. There is little in the ways of cool, innovative technology. For example the front seats adjust manually and the rear windows are crank-operated. Overall the 2014 Ford Focus is an excellent choice as an affordable entry-level ride for the easy commuter.

Economical vehicle for students or new family.
The quality of this vehicle is actually great, in relation to cost. It's an inexpensive car to drive and own. Gas mileage is fairly good in the city (23mpg), great on the highway(30 mpg.) Acceleration and handling make it a fun, sporty choice for young drivers. It's not very comfortable for long road trips, but the size and handling make it ideal for city driving. Vehicle maintenance and cost of repair/upkeep is relatively cheap, and actual repairs are rarely needed. When repairs have been necessary, it is such a common car that there's no trouble finding parts/repair shops. While the Focus has plenty of room for two adults in the front, getting a baby in and out of car seat in the backseat is a bit of a squeeze. The trunk is large, and the back seat folds down to create a fairly good-sized space. There is very little leg room in the back seat. The Focus is great for long road trips. It's pretty comfortable and feels capable up to 80mph, at which point it gets a little shaky.

Ford Focus 2008
I bought this Focus because it was affordable and was known for being reliable. So far, my experience with the car has been good. I've owned it for about a year and a half, and so far, have changed the notoriously bad motor mounts and sway bar links. Other repairs that will be needed in the future are the control arms, due to the bushings going bad. Car has 110,000 miles on it, and basic parts are starting to wear. Otherwise, it has been fairly cheap to maintain and reliable.

I wouldn't say anything was "great" about the dealership. They had the vehicle I wanted on the lot. I was able to test drive it and take it home that day if I wanted. We paid cash for the vehicle, no financing.
