While the Focus has plenty of room for two adults in the front, getting a baby in and out of car seat in the backseat is a bit of a squeeze. The trunk is large, and the back seat folds down to create a fairly good-sized space. There is very little leg room in the back seat. The Focus is great for long road trips. It's pretty comfortable and feels capable up to 80mph, at which point it gets a little shaky.

One thing that I don't favor is the seemingly limited technical abilities the car provides. There is little in the ways of cool, innovative technology. For example the front seats adjust manually and the rear windows are crank-operated. Overall the 2014 Ford Focus is an excellent choice as an affordable entry-level ride for the easy commuter.
