The 2016 Toyota Corolla was the first car I purchased. I have driven it for 8,000 miles, and it has fully met my expectations in terms of performance. The price was reasonable, and it was a practical, safe car that got me from point A to point B without any issues. It was easy to maintain. It totally lived up to its reputation and provided me with ample room for basics like grocery shopping and driving around friends and family, but little else.
Story
One of my favorite memories with this car was when I drove to Canada and back. It was a long drive, but the audio system kept me entertained with music and podcasts.
Pros
Overall, the Toyota Corolla is extremely dependable and has great resale value. I was pleased with the mileage and fuel efficiency. The seats are comfortable and manage to deal with stains and spills pretty well. The audio system was great for playing music, and I really liked that the steering wheel had controls so I could stay focused on the road and not distracted by the touchscreen system.
Cons
This is not a great car for those looking for a thrill. The performance is consistent and respectable but not especially exciting. It's not the most sporty car, and there were times where I couldn't accelerate as much as I wanted. It was so generic that it was often difficult to identify the car in a parking lot. The support for iPhones was mixed, and the software to control devices plugged into the USB port was inconsistent with confusing controls.

The Toyota Corolla is built for a person that isn't focused on exterior looks of a car, because it is a very generic-looking vehicle. In terms of its driving, the car is one of the best cars that I have driven. It drives smooth and handles much like a go kart. The Corolla has great gas mileage.
Story
I used my Toyota Corolla to travel 22 hours straight on I-5 with a friend to pursue a new job. Once we arrived, we quickly realized that the job was a scam, and we had to take turns driving 22 hours home the next day. The car was a champ!
Pros
This car is small but still has a large trunk, which is necessary with kids. I am able to pack several big suitcases in the trunk. The windows are large and give great visibility to prevent from getting into accidents. The seats in the back seat are spacious enough to fit three grown adults comfortably.
Cons
The car is only front-wheel drive, which handles poorly in freezing temperatures. The size of the car prevents me from going to the hardware store.

They were super quick. They were very personable and not pushy. I feel I got a very fair price. They let me take my time test driving the car. They let me browse their lot on my own for as long as I wanted.
