The 2012 Ford Focus is a reliable and gas-efficient vehicle. It accelerates fairly quickly and smoothly. I found the Focus to have a sporty style, pleasing to look at, and a fairly comfortable ride. The center seat in the rear is somewhat raised and can be a small issue when you have a passenger sitting there. You cannot see easily over them , and it is uncomfortable to sit for long periods of travel as well. The gas mileage is somewhere around 35 mpg, which saves on money for fuel costs. The Focus performs well, easily combing high elevations and steep grades with not much effort, but occasionally shifting down to gain power a couple of times to accommodate the extra strain. I will add that the traction control is a nice bonus letting you know when the car is not balanced enough for the steep and winding roads you are on, keeping you safe and stable. The noise factor in the car when moving is a small issue, as it can be fairly loud. Also, it has a large trunk space. We have had to take it in for a least five safety recalls on parts for the car, which seems excessive. Also, the seat does not lay flat when leaned forward in the cargo space.

This vehicle was great. Perfect for a small family. Compact but still enough room for a large car seat in the back. Larger trunk space than what I've seen before in fords. Would definitely recommend to my friends. And it has space for upgrading for those who like to add to their vehicles.
