Our family car is a Ford. The last 3 cars we've had have been Fords and we've not been disappointed by any of them, including this one. Of course initially, looking at the car, we found it attractive. The color is Guard Grey which is an unusual color - because while it is grey - in certain light it looks dark a forest green. The inside of the car rides comfortably. Most importantly though, the car is reliable, gets decent gas mileage and has not failed us in any way once. We've had the car almost 2 years and it still looks and rides like it is brand new.
Story
A funny thing that happened once is that my mother and I were out shopping and we went back to our car. She tried pulling on the door and it wouldn't open. I looked and she was one car over. The car she was trying to get into was not ours! But it was exactly the same Ford Fusion in Guard Grey. They even had the spoiler! It was pretty funny. We've learned that there are about 6 in our town that... (more)
Pros
Our favorite thing about the car of course is the comfort and performance of it. We've used this car on a few pretty long road trips and have been very satisfied with the MPG on the highways and by overall performance. This car has never broken down in any way or given us any kind of mechanical problems and for that we are so grateful. There is much more though than the practical - We love the upgraded stereo system (MP3 compatible and hands-free cell phone connectivity. The air conditioner and the heating system are excellent - as they work immediately. Living in Wisconsin - it gets... (more)
Cons
In all honesty it's hard to find fault with our car. We really just love it. If we had to say anything - it'd be the price - but that's with any car these days. I think for most people who are not of the 1% - sticker shock is just a reality. Of course we can make our payments - but with insurance, licensing, etc. The monthly cost to have a car IS expensive. The only other negative is that we did lose quite a bit in trunk size from our last Ford (which in fairness was the larger Taurus). We do big monthly shopping trips at a Japanese grocery store that is about an hour away and at a Naval b... (more)

I purchased my Fusion after my previous vehicle suddenly broke down, to an expensive tune of not worth it. When the salesman said he had a Ford to show me, I was a bit hesitant as I pictured a tin can of a car. However, upon seeing the Fusion, I was impressed by the end of the test drive. It handled easily, turning was smooth, the engine quiet yet quick to acceleration. The interior was sleek black leather with color - matched trim, dashboard and cupholders. The gas mileage lessened my weekly gas bill compared to my previous car.
Story
Living in the Midwest where we get ample snow, this little car handles very well. Last winter, after a night of snowfall, I arrived at my work office...well, the parking driveway that leads to the office. Several coworkers were there, stuck in the snow as plows had not gotten there yet. Asking my co-workers to 'step aside', I backed my car up, accelerated, and blew past the cars stuck, like I ... Pros
The smooth quiet ride was a definite plus. The sun roof has a tight seal; I have never experienced it leaking during rain. The contoured seats were comfortable. I do frequent highway travel and was impressed with the smooth, quiet handling at highway speeds. Because of my traveling, I often need room for luggage. I was impressed by the deep spacious trunk.
Cons
I haven't had too many negative issues with the Fusion, aside from small space in the back seats. However, in this past year, it has abruptly needed a multitude of repairs. Both front seat door handle mechanisms broke within months of each other. The oil has begun leaking. I have had to replace both the headlights and tail lights just this year as well.
