Hondas are about the best vehicles you can purchase. They are the perfect blend between form and function. What you get with a Honda is exactly what you need: a reliable car. With care, the engine can easily live for half a million miles. These cars do not break down until they are purposely broken. If you want to purchase a car that will last you a life time or two—you ought to get yourself a Honda.
Story
I love driving my Honda Civic up to look-out points near by and watching the sunrise and sunset. It's very peaceful. I also love taking my Honda on long road trips and not being worried because its got great gas mileage.
Pros
The interior of the 2008 Honda Civic-LX Coupe is small and cozy. The seats aren’t faux leather so they don’t get too hot in the summer nor too cold in the winter. The fuel efficiency is also to die for. With roughly a 10 gallon tank, a fully filled tank you cost you about 30 bucks to fill 'er up. The Honda Civic 2008 LX Coupe can also very easily maintained by someone who isn't an experienced mechanic. I've had to do some maintenance work myself and it's as easy as watching a YouTube video. A Honda Civic is the perfect first car.
Cons
The only down side to this amazing car is that it doesn't have much power. The engine is a V4 so there's not much "oof" to it. But come on, you're not a child, you're no street racer with something to prove: you're a hardworking person who wants to get from here to there and enjoy life—not someone who has to rev their engine at every red light. Honestly, that is the only down side to a Honda Civic. And if you can live with that, you're in for a life time of reliability.

My Honda Civic has been nothing short of an incredible vehicle. I've owned it since I was a teenager and have only grown to love it more. It has great gas mileage, stores way more than I would ever expect, has had virtually no mechanical issues, and has a comfortable, though slightly loud ride. One of the few downsides is its lack of power, which bothered me as a teenager but is now a non issue.
Story
I took this car backpacking around my area and it did surprisingly well on the roads, which weren't paved, but still were not over grown or full of roots.
Pros
I love the gas mileage of this vehicle. I have 130,000 miles on it and it still gets 37 highway miles per gallon even with the A/C on. I have never had mechanical issues beyond the normal wear and tear of tires, struts, and brakes. It is able to fit 8 foot long pieces of lumber with the pass through while still allowing the trunk to close, which was way more than I was expecting. Also, the trunk fits a pack and play, large stroller, a few bag chairs along with most of the clothing for a weeklong trip for my family of three.
Cons
This vehicle has a serious lack of power. It takes a while to get up to highway speed and pass vehicles on 2 lane highways. Also, the engine works a little harder in these situations.
