It is a great car for a college student. The gas mileage is very efficient, the car is safe and smooth in driving.

Overall the Nissan Sentra (2001 GXE) is a decent and fairly reliable car. I purchased it with 80k miles and it currently has about 106k. It's a bit smaller than what I would prefer, didn't notice that until I drove it for some time. Definitely can feel bumps and hear some road noise, the suspension isn't the best but neither is the road quality where it's driven. The interior still looks pretty nice considering its age, while the exterior is beginning to rust and show signs of deterioration. Have had to replace a few major parts and was quite pricey. So far the engine, transmission, and brakes have all been just fine. I enjoy mountain biking and ran into some troubles. The backseat is too small to accommodate a mountain bike and had an issue with the trunk for a bike rack. Ended up putting the bike in the trunk and using some rope to keep it nearly shut.
