I got my 2012 Ford Fusion SE about a year and a half ago, and it has been a great car so far. I got my car used, and it actually had quite a lot of miles on it (120,000). None the less, this car has been reliable, fuel efficient and overall a really great car. I have had very few problem regarding this care. Just this week was the first time my check engine light has ever come on, and it turned out to be just a fluke thing pertaining to the fact that these cars have no gas cap. Routine tire rotation and oil changes are the only things I have had to pay for since getting this car.
Story
I have to say living up north I experience some dreadful weather, but this car has got me threw it all. It tell you every time you lose traction, and it moves through the snow pretty good for a smaller car.
Pros
One of my favorite aspects of this car is how loud the speakers are! The speakers that come with the car are absolutely incredible. Ford Fusions definitely bump. Another pro to this car is you can adjust it to tell you how many miles you have until your gas tank is empty. When you get to 50 miles to empty, it dings to let you know . This same screen will also let you know when you need and oil change and if tire pressure is low. It may even notify you of other things, but these are the only things I have seen. Checking the oil is easy and not confusing in the Fusion. Changing the taillight... (more)
Cons
There are only a couple things that I wish were different about the Ford Fusion SE. For one, the windshield wipers do not go fast enough for heavy rainfall. It will do the job for regular rain, but if you get caught on the highway with any type of substantial rain, it is very difficult see. The other problem I had was that the headlight is a little difficult to get to. Maybe there is a different way you were supposed to change it, but I had to squeeze my hand in there, and I have pretty small hands. Oh, and it does not have the best get up and go, but it is not a race car it is a 4-cylinde... (more)

2011 Ford Fusion - One of the best cars I've owned

The Ford Fusions was a wonderful car. The pick up was great, so I never felt like I was about to be run over. The appearance of the car itself was aggressive but family oriented. The backseat easily accommodated three kids with one of them being in a car seat. One of the selling points was the very large trunk on that size of a car. I could easily take off my bike's front wheel and the whole thing fit in the trunk with ease. I drove the car for 23,000 miles in a year and a half and did not have a single issue. I felt that the car was extremely reliable and comfortable. It was like the leather hugged you while you were in it.
Story
My favorite memory with this car was when we packed up the whole family in it. Five people plus luggage and road tripped to Florida. It was just a fun time and there was plenty of room so the kids weren't fighting the whole trip.
Pros
One of my favorite features was the ambient lighting. I loved being able to quickly change the color as I saw fit. I also loved the stereo in that car. It was crisp and clear without the static effect found on a lot a used cars. I loved the heated seats. I thought that they would get warm quickly without getting too hot like some manufacturers. The trunk was huge and never had an issue getting things in there. The car handled very nicely and didn't feel stiff while driving.
Cons
One thing I did not like was the rear window. It was at an odd angle, so it was a narrow view while looking in the rearview mirror. Another thing I did not like was that there was not a way to release the back seats to get trunk access from inside the vehicle. You had to open the trunk to drop the seats. I also felt that the fuel economy could have been better on a vehicle of this size. I only got 16-20 mpg. I wish the vehicle radio display was a little larger. It was just two lines and in a light blue text, so it could be hard to read at times. The voice control didn't always pickup what ... (more)
