For a little four cylinder engine, I've got to say that this truck is peppy. Not only does the Ranger get great gas mileage, but it also is very dependable. I have driven this for years, purchased brand new. With immaculate turning radius and performance style acceleration, the truck holds up very well.

The Ford Ranger was my first vehicle I drove more or less exclusively. It was used a bit beat up--far from the prettiest thing you could get, but it had the grits. For me living at the edge of a small town, my life and work revolved around the use of trucks. Like the title says, the Ranger is small, but it had more than enough power to get things done. Mileage was also much better when compared to larger trucks.
