I bought my Ford Ranger in 2005 and I've been driving the truck for nearly twelve years now. It's truly been an amazing vehicle. I've had very few mechanical problems. To date, I've only had to replace the fuel pump and alternator - and I recently started having problems with the air conditioner. My Ford Ranger burns almost no oil and I get great gas mileage (about 17 MPG in the city).

I received this vehicle as a graduation gift from my grandfather. He had exceptional taste in vehicles. I love the large mirrors, strong truck bed and smooth steering. One of my favorite things about my Ford Ranger is how durable and dependable it is. I am on the go with my friends a lot, so the four drink holders are also a plus. I've been incredibly happy with the windshield wipers. It rains a lot where I live, so I'm always grateful to have them. Speaking of being able to see, the headlights are perfect. Good visibility is a must, especially since I have trouble seeing at night. Unfortunately, the truck eats through gas quite quickly. Once I fill the tank up completely, a few short hours of driving can bring it back down to near-empty. This can be quite a hassle and, during very busy months, I find myself looking for gas stations several times a week. Still, I will be driving this truck as long as it lasts and would be incredibly happy if I could buy another one just like it again in the future.
