The car's interior has an upscale appearance and is constructed with high-quality materials. Indeed, the cabin is as nice as some luxury SUV interiors. The front seats, at least, are accommodating and don't get uncomfortable, even on long rides. Additionally, the Edge's handling is sportier than expected, given the car's size. Moreover, the overall ride quality is more firm than soft and compliant. The internal audio/computer system, however, is less than ideal .The screen is too small to display more than one word per line at a time, and it occasionally refuses to start at all when the car is started, requiring a rebooting as if it were a laptop. Finally, it relies on navigation buttons, rather than having a dedicated button for each function, thereby making it very cumbersome to use while driving the vehicle. Instead, bring a passenger to be the DJ.

What I liked most about the car was the way it drives and the general size of the vehicle. The car drives so smoothly, which was completely unexpected when I first looked at the vehicle. On top of that, the car is extremely spacious on the inside without the car looking or feeling like it's some huge truck or van. Ford definitely did a good job on designing that portion of the vehicle. The one thing I do not like about the Edge is the maintenance costs to keep the vehicle running, as I feel like this vehicle costs more money in upkeep and general repairs than most of my previous vehicles did.
