Frederick, MD Driving Tips
I would definitely recommend those driving through Frederick to ditch the car and just walk! The small streets and people are very friendly and there is so much to see whether you are window shopping, getting some exercise, or enjoying the weather. Driving around in the car can actually make you miss a lot of great stuff!
Frederick, MD Buying Tips
Frederick has a good variety of dealerships whether you are looking for that daily commuter or a rugged vehicle to get you out of muddy situations. Urbana Pike definitely has a good array of dealerships whether you are looking for a newer model, but can definitely recommend recycler or craigslist as an option whether you are looking for transportation that's easier on the wallet. Either way, Frederick is definitely a thumbs up when it comes to what you need!
Favorite driving memory
I really enjoy driving through Frederick, MD. It is a growing city that still holds its history as a town that endured through the Civil War. It also does very well to take care of its residents as well as tourists. The streets, shops, restaurants are very well maintained which definitely adds to the ambiance of taking a stroll down their main street and Market St. I enjoy seeing families with/out their pets leisurely walking down the streets and enjoying ice cream from the local shops. Another thing that also adds to the scenery are the street musicians that play next to the river walk during the nice weather.
Favorite road
Market St. Market St. Takes you through the heart of Frederick with the outlying 40 and 70 routes. It is very nice to have a city surrounded by farmlands, and nature. It definitely adds to the scenic drives of escaping the "city" feel when you would like to reconnect with nature.

Frederick, MD Driving Tips
The most important tip for driving thru this area, keep both eyes on the road signs. The signs are not difficult to understand, easily read, you just have to keep paying attention to them, there is an intersection that could take you in another direction you have not intended taking. Several highways intersect, and you could be in Washington, D.C.
Frederick, MD Buying Tips
A new dealership, to Frederick, CarMax, has opened up recently, offering a range of vehicles, at competitive prices. Several other dealerships are with a short distance, offering new and used cars, several different manufactures.
Favorite driving memory
A few years ago, Frederick MD, was a different little town in MD. Over the past years, Frederick has grown quickly, bringing with this growth, more traffic. Frederick has worked for some time now to keep up with this expansion. Traffic patterns have changed, new roads, new intersections that can be somewhat confusing if you are not paying 100% attention to traffic signs. Being a long time resident of this area, it has been very interesting to watch this growth, however, I do truly miss the small town feel, less traffic. The old school feel of the city.
Favorite road
70. 70 Is a highway that passes through MD out west. 70 Heads thru suburban areas, into rural areas that are quickly being lost. 70 Can be a nightmare at times, coming down to a 2 lane highway, and other areas offer scenic passes that have you forgetting the areas that are not so pleasing. 70 Carries a lot of cross country truck traffic taking materials east and west.
