I purchased my Accord used from a dealer with around 75,000 miles already on it. It has a white exterior and for the most part, I am amazed at how clean the color looks even after it hasn't been washed. I love how smooth the ride is and how well Accords are known to hold up, which is one of the biggest things I looked for when purchasing. I have owned the vehicle for almost three years and my only complaint about functionality is ability to carry a large quantity of items, which I don't do much, but the trunk size is still nice for a midsize car. Overall, it is a pleasure to drive, and doesn't have too many things that stick out as extremely positive or negative. With that said, it still is an enjoyable vehicle and the longevity and resale value the vehicle keeps makes me apprecia... (more)
Story
I just moved to the beach where everyone parks on the edge of the street. It was great to have a smaller vehicle on a busy day, because I was able to snag a parallel spot with ease that I would not have been able to do with an SUV.
Pros
Fuel mileage. I commuted 30 miles one way to and from work every weekday and only had to fill up once a week, averaging over 30 miles per gallon every tank. Having a 4 cylinder engine helps with this fuel efficiency and is one of the biggest advantages of the engine. The automatic transmission rides smoothly and the car does not jerk when changing gears. The backseat is also very spacious, and even though I usually drive by myself, people who have ridden with me have applauded how much extra room they have to spread out, and that they "aren't packed in like sardines."
Cons
My biggest issue with this car is the radio. After research, I have found it is a common problem with the generation's radio to have failure. I have experienced some problems, but not a total failure. Every few weeks the radio will connect but will not emit sound, so it basically sounds like dead air is being broadcasted. After speaking with a service technician at a Honda dealership, he informed me an internal radio failure is likely and that replacing the stock radio would be around $900 (almost the price of a down payment on a new car). The only other negative thing is that sometim... (more)

My 2010 Honda Accord LXP was great when I first had it. However, things went from good to bad very quickly. There was a class action lawsuit over this model, so they extended the car to an eight-year extended warranty. That didn't cover a lot of the small issues that began to happen though.
Story
I remember taking the first week I had this car I took it to the state fair. It was about 200 miles away and I spent the day at the fair and had a good time.
Pros
Car is fairly spacious for a sedan. It is a five-speed manual and was good on gas mileage. The interior was nothing fancy, but felt nice. Probably faux-leather. The sound system was pretty good for stock, and the bass and treble were very nice all around.
Cons
Car burned through oil like crazy. I had to change the oil every 2-3k as opposed to 5-6k for the last car that I leased. The check engine light came on twice during the year I had the car. Luckily, I was leasing so I did not have to pay for these issues. I had to constantly take this car to the Honda dealership to be looked at. Once they just reset the check engine light and told me they fixed the issue. However, after two days the light came back on. I had to go to an actual mechanic to find out something was wrong with the pistons firing. The CarFax told me there was no prior issues with... (more)

We had a positive experience buying our last Honda from Crown Honda of Greensboro. The staff was friendly and worked hard to get us exactly what we were looking for. After the sale we had a few questions and they were extremely helpful and got us what we needed quickly. We take our car there for service and have had nothing but good experiences.
