2015 Ford Fusion - Amazing Value
The Ford Fusion is the second car I own, and I could not be happier. The car itself has a spacious interior and is very comfortable while driving on longer trips. The fuel economy is incredible, and I average over 31 miles to the gallon, sometimes close to 40 mph on highway trips. I recently took the car on a 500 mile trip without any problems. The radio and features are modern and up to date. The speakers are nice and the interior trim is in line with the price range, perhaps even a little nicer than would be expected. I have yet to have a problem with the vehicle, and I am very happy with my decision.
Story
Driving to West Virginia to pick up my girlfriend. Not only did I get to take in the beautiful sights of mountains, but I had a fun time driving the car through winding and tight turns.
Pros
Great gas mileage and value for the price. Very large interior that makes for a comfortable ride. Price was extremely valuable for what you are getting. The design of the car is very sleek and appealing, particularly the front end and headlights.
Cons
Driving power can be a bit of issue. Takes a little longer than other cars to get up to speed, but this is more than likely a trade-off for greater fuel efficiency. The seats are comfortable but can take a time to adjust to.
2007 Ford Fusion - Love this car
I love that it's all-wheel drive, without being an SUV. It's the perfect size for me, able to hold three passengers very comfortably. It also has a nice roomy trunk. I'm a theatrical costume designer. If I don't have passengers, I am able to carry everything I need to drive to a theatre with all the costumes for a play or opera production, while still able to use a car instead of an SUV. It handles so well. We lived in the mountains for the first eight years that I owned it. We were so impressed with how well the all-wheel drive works in the snow, and how well it handled the curves. It also has plenty of torque to get up the steep slopes, or to pass other cars. I drive long distances alone often, and it's actually comfortable for the first eight hours or so, which is much better than m... (more)
Story
I have driven it in some pretty dicey winter conditions and always felt very safe in it. Not really a fun story, but I was grateful.
Pros
It's quiet on the road. I don't hear road noise, and I don't hear rattling, whining, etc. Even the A/C fan is quiet. Its seats are very comfortable. The compartments, cup holders, and seat pockets are convenient. The passenger seat leans back far enough that the passenger can actually take a good nap.
Cons
I understand that it's actually a pretty big car, and it's AWD, but I do wish it got better gas mileage on the highway.
