Used Honda Accord for Sale in Kent, WA

My husband bought a car (worth $7,995) from these guys in late march. For the most part the car was in decent shape ( meaning no major mechanical repairs or break downs so far). Rueben was nice and for the most part honest. The only issue for me was the check engine light was on immediately when starting the car. Rueben told us that the light was stuck and that he would get it fixed for us within a week or so. We took the car to their preferred mechanic and the mechanic told us that the check engine light was stuck and all he needed to do was replace it. Funny thing is after purchasing the car we took the car to an outside mechanic and he told us the reason the light was on was due to the catalytic converter needed to be replaced. We were buying a used car nearly 10 years old so we knew the thing would not be in pristine condition. I felt like Best Bet Auto or their preferred mechanic should have told us this instead of claiming that the check engine light was stuck and nothing was wrong with the car.

We went in with the entire family as we had to make sure that we all fit comfortably. During the road test, a manager watched our teens playing with our younger girls. When the kids got growly, they were quietly offered snacks. There was no pressure, we told the salesman what we wanted and how much we had available to spend, and drove three different vehicles.
