I like this car more than the fords and dodges I have owned in the past. I purchased the car when it was one year old with one previous owner and low miles. I have had no issues regarding mechanical or cosmetic issues aside from the standard factory recommended maintenance which has been relatively inexpensive as I do most things myself. One thing I really enjoy about this vehicle is that the design and materials of the car all feel really solid. It doesn't seem cheap or chintzy to me at all. I've had no issues replacing the factory stereo with an aftermarket one although it was semi-difficult removing some of the dashboard trim to get access to the stereo. I live in an area of the US that frequently gets large amounts of snowfall and this car has had no issue getting around on snowy o... (more)
Story
Driving on black ice without losing too much control during winter months.
Pros
Over 40MPG when driving on the highway which is a lot better than the previous truck I had owned.
Cons
Clearance level could be a little bigger.

My Honda Civic is a car I bought after owning a Toyota Avalon for several years and having to pay $1500 for a major repair. So far my Civic is more than 10 years old and (knock on wood) still as reliable as ever. The hybrid engine gives me approximately 34 miles to the gallon, though it appears to get better mileage in the summer months. Many people have mentioned that their hybrid gets the same mileage in stop-and-go city driving as they do on the freeway. I've found my Civic gets much better mileage on the freeway, much like a non-hybrid. The seats are comfortable for larger size people. While it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a newer vehicle, I plan to keep it for years to come.
Story
It's a standard vehicle, but can still get up to some pretty good speed when on an empty freeway.
Pros
Reliable. Good gas mileage. Oil changes only about once a year. Hybrid, but doesn't look ugly like so many hybrids. Able to use AUX to play music from my cell phone.
Cons
The car has had many recalls, most of which I wasn't aware of until I took the car into the dealer for an oil change. The work for some of the recalls took up to 4 hours. When I first bought the car it was a bit of a shock each time I would come to a stop and the engine would seemingly turn off. It's never caused a problem though and I soon became used to it.
