This car is by far the best vehicle for gas mileage and being that it is made by Toyota, we have no problems with it so far. Over 50 miles in the city is amazing. Our car is a metallic blue and with all the advanced electronic features it comes with such as a great radio, the ability to use our phone through the car, play CDs or mp3 audio. It is like being in a space ship that is a car. Plus our first two years of service are free. No worries about paying a lot of money for gas. Of course, there are only two of us but the inside is roomier than it seems on the outside. We have had our car for a year and we would recommend this car to anyone. Here in the Seattle area we see so many Prius cars, it is said to be the most popular. Now all the taxis are Prius too.
Story
Well the most memorable story is our first time to go for gas. We used to have a Ford mini-van which ate gas and usually needed to fill up once a week, now we don't drive so much but it took us almost one month before we had to get more gas - now we are used to this and generally don't fill up the car with gas due to the amount of mileage we get.
Pros
1) Electronic Key - first to open the door which is a protection for your car and second just to hit a button to start the car. 2) the gas mileage is amazing - hard to believe we have a car that can go 50 miles per gallon 3) to be able to use our phone through the car is exciting 4) the radio system is very good 5) for a small car plenty of space inside for all we need to do 6) ability to play CDs and mp3
Cons
There are few negatives on this car but there are a few. 1) This may be true of all hybrids - the way the system works is very different and it takes time to get use to the car opening when you are near with the key and how to start it and shift into drive or reverse 2) I don't like the way the back window is setup up - the way the back end is designed, part of the car via the rear view mirror divides the back into two parts which takes time to get use to.
