2000 Honda Accord - It is a car that's easy to take care of, and easy to drive.

I have a Honda Accord. I really like how easy it is to take care of it. The features of the car is very simple, really nothing that was difficult to figure out without reading the instruction manual. The pros are that I never had a problem with the car, not even minor things. It is been more than a decade, but it still runs great, and is relatively inexpensive considering how little I'd have to pay to maintain it. I also like the color of it, it is a beige color. So it is not very easy for it to get dirty. Unlike black or white cars, this color is really low-maintenance. The car drives great too, even though it is an older car, it still drives very smoothly, and I get reasonably good mileage with my Honda. So I'd say, overall, I'm very satisfied with it. The cons are few, the only thin... (more)
Story
I almost ran out of gas in Charlotte NC while driving through there, because I had my cellphone on the dashboard, and it was raining a lot so I was paying attention to the road for the most part. And about a long time when the light had already turned red, did I realize that I was out of gas, it gave me quite a fright.
Pros
My car is very affordable, low maintenance, and does relatively well on mileage. I don't think I've ever encountered any major or minor issues with this car. It is also easy to keep clean, I have a beige Honda, so dust and dirt do not really show as apparently, making this a great choice as to not have to take it to the car wash so much. In addition, the size of it is just right, it's not too small where it may seem flimsy, and it's not too bulky where I would have trouble parking it conveniently living in the city. Overall, it is a great car, and it has served me extremely well over the y... (more)
Cons
The top negatives would be that it is not very sturdy car, and that the heating and cooling feature usually take a bit of time to kick in. It also may not have the best mileage, although I suspect it is because it is a pretty old car.

Overall I am very satisfied with my decision to purchase this car. This car accelerates very quickly which is one of the things I absolutely love about it because it makes getting around other cars much easier on the freeway. The build of the car is bulky but it still looks nice and the bulkiness makes this a safer car. I have driven this car from the east coast of the US to California twice and there are still no problems with any of the parts, including the brakes. What a durable, well built car this is!
Story
The most memorable moment about this car is cruising down the beach towns near the pier in southern California and having the windows rolled down smelling the sea breeze.
Pros
The best qualities of this vehicle are that it is low maintenance and high quality. I love the chrome detailing on the front and it's a car with a long life. Another pro is that it gets great gas mileage, I rarely have to stop to refuel this vehicle and I drive it a lot. This car is super nice and gets respect while out on the road from other drivers because it is recognized as a safe, reliable car. Has 80,000 miles and has never had to go to the mechanic.
Cons
Because of the bulkiness of the exterior, it makes it susceptible to dents, interior is light colored so easy to see stains. Does not have luxury feel, more of an average car.

I purchased this car for my granddaughter because she liked the grey color. When she was ready for another car, I kept the Honda because she had a very good experience with it being dependable. Gas mileage was very good and it handled like a sports car to me. The heater works very well, as did the air conditioning unit. The interior of the Honda is easy to keep clean and although this was an older model the interior held up in good condition. The automatic windows are most appreciated as my previous car (a Ford Club wagon) had manual windows. The trunk has ample space as I taught art classes and needed to haul supplies for new students. Getting into the Honda is easy as it's not low to the ground or high like the Ford. I am not an engine geek, so the area under the hood is handy for me... (more)
Story
My art students would tell newcomers to the class how much I loved that Honda!
Pros
This Honda handles easy like a sports car compared to my Clubwagon.
Cons
No negative comments for the Honda.
