I appreciate the non-pushy sales people, the customer service when getting maintenance done and at the parts department. Negotiating is not as challenging here as it is at other dealerships. This is the second car we have purchased from them and when we need new cars, we will go back to them, and them only, again

Buying a car can be intimidating, especially for me because I have never dealt with a dealership before. As soon as I walked in, the people at Tempe Honda made me feel comfortable. They remembered my name and didn't put pressure on me to decide on anything too quickly. I felt taken care of there, and knew that I would be comfortable coming back for subsequent services and such.

I bought the vehicle used. It is a stylish, sleek looking coupe from Honda. The large size of this coupe makes it feel quite safe. The interior is spacious and the ride is very smooth and comfortable. The vehicle gets excellent gas mileage, averaging about 415 miles per tank. The drivers dash is wonderfully simple (no fancy screens computers, just easy-to-read basics). One display feature that is really nice is an oil change needed indicator when you toggle through your odometer settings. The car feels very quick for a 4 cylinder engine. The two-tone interior is very attractive, I've actually received comments from friends on this. The trunk is spacious and works well for everyday errands like grocery shopping. Even though it is only a two-door, my dog can easily hop in and o... (more)
Story
I pulled up to a red light alongside an identical vehicle to mine, same color and everything. We both revved our engines at each other and when the light turned green, he took off and I just proceeded at normal speed. When we got to the next red light, he looked over and was laughing, I laughed back. I think he laughed at me because he thought I 'lost' but I laughed at him for trying to rac... (more)
Pros
The car is extremely fuel efficient. It is very comfortable to ride in. And it is fun to drive. As a rabid F1 racing fan, I call it my Honda McLaren. It is a speedy little 4 banger that is really fun to drive!
Cons
There are some rattles and noises at this point in the vehicle's life. They are hard to pin point and therefore hard to rectify. I wish the stock stereo system was of a higher quality.

This car has a lot of great features. The gas mileage is astounding. Getting almost 40 miles to the gallon and I only have to fill up every few weeks. This model has a moon roof and sun roof with leather interior. Absolutely everything in the car is electric. The CD player is a six disc player and the sound quality used to be amazing. Unfortunately, the air conditioning compressor recently went out and having no air in Arizona is very difficult. Also, the transmission slips and/or catches between first and second gear. Occasionally it also slips between second and third gear as well. Because of the gears slipping, the acceleration on the car is seriously lacking. The interior is roomy, but the car is very, very low to the ground. The low clearance makes it difficult to maneu... (more)
Story
I don't really drive the car enough to have any great stories. Because of the transmission concerns, and the lack of air conditioning in the middle of an Arizona summer, I drive it as little as possible.
Pros
Great gas mileage Roomy for the size Moon roof Sun roof Everything is electric Fun to drive Great stereo
Cons
Slipping transmission No A/C

The 2010 Honda Accord EX-L is an excellent mid-size sedan. The V6 engine provides the horse power that isn't often found in vehicles such as this one and it performs beautifully. The automatic ECO capability allows the motor to switch between 6 and 4 cylinders in order to provide you with better miles per gallon than most vehicles with a V6. With the mileage at 103,000 it still has yet to waiver and runs like a charm.
Story
In Gilbert, Arizona I was speeding down the freeway with the moon roof open when it began to hail and my friend and I were beat with pieces of ice for a few seconds before closing the roof.
Pros
This vehicle comes packed with features you look for in a modern car. It has built-in navigation as well as Bluetooth compatibility for cell phones. The steering wheel comes equipped with volume and channel buttons for the stereo, as well as speech recognition button to give commands to your phone or navigation. On top of that, cruise control function is effortless with the controls located on the right hand side of the steering wheel and it is capable of accelerating or decelerating with the push of a button.
Cons
The cons of this vehicle are that the console below the stereo is covered in button and controls and may take a while to learn. Also, the vehicle is prone to a misfire in the cylinders but is covered by Honda with a manufacturer warranty, so a stop at a Honda dealership should get the problem fixed with few questions asked.
