I've had a Nissan Altima for over a year now. It's a nice car but it's not my favorite. It drives well enough, and the interior is pretty good. The sound system is also really good. There are a lot of places where you can put chargers and what not and it is very spacious. I've used it to drive Uber for over a year as well, and I get many compliments on how nice my car is. It gets okay gas mileage, not incredible. One thing I really don't like though is the durability of the engine. It is not very durable. I've had to replace many things including the alternator, the power steering pump, and power steering rack. That all cost me over $1,200. It's not terribly old and doesn't have too many miles. Yeah, if it was over 200,000 miles I'd be a little more understanding of the issues with the... (more)
Story
My girlfriend and I took turns driving to California to go to Disneyland in it twice. It was a fun trip.
Pros
Interior. Sound System. Places to plug in chargers. Very spacious.
Cons
The engine was not great. It couldn't handle hills very well. Lots of things started breaking or going out and needed to be replaced.

I like the push button start and gas mileage. I like the size of the four-door sedan and trunk size. The radio and Bluetooth features work well. The CVT transmission is nice and works well. I like the size of the gas tank. The back seat of the vehicle is roomy and fits tall people well. The air conditioning works well even in a black vehicle in the desert. I do not like the paint on the vehicle; it scratches easily and fades easily. The interior trim is okay and some of the glue and Velcro that holds the trim together has came apart. It is overall a good starter vehicle, and the warranty is standard for vehicles of this type. It could use a better painting process. I see a lot of Nissans on the road with faded and missing paint. The push-button, keyless entry works good. The battery in... (more)
Story
I took the vehicle on a road trip to Las Vegas. It was a fun road trip. The vehicle handled well. The air conditioning worked well on the way thru the Arizona and Nevada desert.
Pros
The size of the vehicle is good, and the leg room is good for tall people. I like Bluetooth hands-free features of the radio. The steering wheel controls for the radio and hands-free features are nice. The center console storage space has a decent size and features.
Cons
The paint scratches and fades easily. The hands-free Bluetooth connection takes a long time to pair up and connect.

The dealership was very helpful because I did not know much about vehicles when I went in, they knew this, and instead of taking advantage of me like a greasy Guido in a run down pawnshop, they actually helped me learn about the things I need to know when looking for a vehicle.

The salesman spent the time we needed to look at a variety of vehicles and let us decide on the model we wanted. They did not have the vehicle with the equipment we wanted so they found it at another dealership and had it shipped to them.
