At Carmax I found a car I liked very quickly. They had a good selection of cars in my price range. The staff was really friendly and helpful and made the experience very easy going. Additionally, they also gave me a fair price when selling my old car. After a few test drives, I settled on a car and was driving it home that very day. I love my new car and I'm totally satisfied with the entire experience.

The dealership had a salesman who gave us inaccurate and incomplete information. When it was brought to their attention, their sales manager took over and made us feel welcome and he rectified the situation. They terminated the salesman who tried to take our information to do a private deal unrelated to our car purchase. They fulfilled all the promises made by the salesman that were not originally included in the cost of the car but we were told were. They gave us hundreds of dollars worth of extras including maintenance that wasn't covered to make up for the behavior of their salesman. We will continue to use this dealership for all our future car purchases.

I would say that this is one of the most reliable vehicles out in the market. It is a great used car for someone to buy because it is affordable and you are also getting reliability. Everyone knows that Honda is one of the best car makers out there because they always provide the best value for your money. The fixtures on the car will not cost you that much either and it runs very smoothly.
Story
One memory I have was when I took this car out around town and saw all the nice sights.
Pros
I would state that the pros are the vehicle's reliability. It will last you a good amount of time, so you won't have to continue to invest in other assets. Also the smooth handling of the vehicle. It is a very comfortable car to drive.
Cons
The cons I would state are the fact that the interior of the vehicle looks very plain and basic, so it does not grab your attention. Also the look of the car its trying to emulate a sporty look, but in my opinion it falls a bit flat in that department.

My Honda Accord has been a trusted member of the family for 12 years. The car still runs like a dream and the body is still sleek, clean and looks almost brand new. The engine purrs. There's no rattling or shaking. I still take the car on long trips and it performs well. The a/c works perfectly, as well. I expect this car to last for another 12 years easily.
Story
When I first bought the car my co-workers went to the parking lot to check it out with me. They made me open the truck which was clean and spacious. One commented. "Wow, it's big enough for two dead bodies." We all laughed so I think that's good.
Pros
The car has a beautiful body type. I saw this car in Miami on vacation and decided it was the car I wanted to buy. It still looks amazing today. The body has held up well to the weather and road hazards. It still looks sleek. The a/c still works amazingly well. There have been a few recalls on the car. I was notified immediately by the dealership and they were alleviated quickly. This car has been an absolute pleasure to own. I definitely got my moneys worth.
Cons
The only drawback to the vehicle is interior noise. The car I had before was a Camry which was vacuum sealed. You could not hear the music outside of the car. Unfortunately with the Honda the road noise causes me to turn up the radio which can be a little distracting if up too loud, to other drivers.

I purchased my Honda Accord in 2003, so it was a used car. However it only had 36,000 miles on it and seemed well taken care of. It was a Honda Certified vehicle, so we felt confident that the car would last us for many years. The car had a perfect paint job, the interior was nice and it drove really smooth. The light tan interior is the only thing I disliked about it, because it showed any dirt or spills, and with kids, that is something to consider.
Story
We bought this car because our family was expanding and we needed a four door car in order to easily put the kids in their car seats in the backseat. My favorite memory would have to be bringing my daughter home from the hospital in Jacksonville, FL and sitting in the back seat with her. I had just had a C-section so that would not have been doable with my old 2 door.
Pros
I love so many things about the car. First of all it handles very smoothly. I believe keeping good tires on it helps- like Michelin brand. The other important feature was the driver's seat is shaped well for my back, so I no longer was in pain every time I drove. The trunk space is unbelievably large and was great for our family of four. The factory radio was really nice too and produced a quality sound. The car still has air-condition and cruise control working at 200,000+ miles.
Cons
Things wear out after 200,000 miles so you have to expect to replace parts here and there. The one con that I believe isn't just from old age, but happened early on, was the knob on the AC had to be replaced and the lights in the dash no longer work. I haven't had it fixed because of the cost involved and have read that it might not really fix it permanently. Not having lights makes it hard to know my speed when driving at night, so it is definitely a con for me right now.
