I love my Honda Odyssey. In fact this is the second Odyssey that I have owned and I would not buy a different car right now since I have young children. I think the car is designed for working and busy moms, and especially for moms who may be carrying children in their arms when they are trying to get in the car! It is spacious and comfortable, easy to open the doors (including the trunk) and it has decent fuel efficiency. This model that I have now is more sleek than my previous model, and I like that a lot. It may not accelerate as fast as smaller cars, or turn as fast as my husband's Camaro, but I don't want or need it to. I am driving with kids in the car.
Story
Since the car is pretty tall, we decided to go to the top of the stadium where we live for the last fireworks, and my kids climbed on top of the car with their friends and sat and watched the fireworks. They had a blast, and when they wanted a snack, they all came and sat in the back. We put all the seats down in the back and laid a blanket down and made a picnic for them.
Pros
My favorite things about the car are that you can remotely open both rear doors when your kids need to get in, and you can remotely enter the trunk for when you need to put your groceries in the back. I love that it is easy for my kids to open the door with just the flick of the handle. The trunk space is very practical as well and spacious. And the fuel economy is really not bad, much better than my 2010 Odyssey. Also, I LOVE that you can lay down all of the back seats if you need a lot of transport space! The last, and maybe best feature - the car can hold up to 8 passengers. I liv... (more)
Cons
If I had to pick something I did not like, I would say that it does not have the best pick up, but I realize it is a larger car. And one of the plastic parts in the trunk fell off, but the dealer ordered me a new piece at no cost.

We bought our 2015 Honda Odyssey last summer. It was turned in at the conclusion of a lease so we were the second owner. We simply love the car. We've driven it about 15,000 miles in the last year, including on a long winter vacation. It's our second Odyssey and we really, really are enjoying being Honda owners again.
Story
We just took our brand new puppy home in the vehicle. He seemed to really like his first ever car ride!
Pros
It's really roomy on the inside. We can comfortably fit 8 people which is just perfect for when we have family members in town. The third row seats completely fold flat which really comes in handy when hauling things. We have leather seats and the optional plastic floor covers which make cleanup a breeze. I love the dual zone climate control. When my husband is driving, we can each control our own temperature. Our daughter loves the charging station in the back. And of course, our little nieces love the rear entertainment center. It's just been a fantastic year in this car.
Cons
The major negative is the transmission slipping. It is abrupt and it is not fun but it's systemic with this version of the Odyssey. It doesn't happen often but it is unmistakable. This is actually the second transmission for this car as the first was replaced by the original owner (lease holder). The other con is that the middle seats don't fold flat. You have to take them all the way out and it's a pain.

Everyone at the dealership was really friendly and helpful. They didn't pressure me and they made me feel at home. They really educated me about my car and worked with me to help me find the right car for me. The staff at Holman Honda was really knowledgeable about the entire process including financing and registration and made me feel at home.
