The saleslady, I think her name was Constance, immediately said hi and answered any questions. She was polite, friendly, and to the point. She was straight up honest, which is rare.

When I first drove into the lot, I was happy about the variety of cars available as that told me they would most likely have a vehicle I'd like. The sales staff were all polite, friendly, and didn't seem to mind that I came with a ton of questions. We couldn't meet on an agreeable price to both of us on the car I wanted, so I had to leave empty handed. I think their offer was fair, I was just unable to meet them and they had nothing else on the lot that they could offer me in my price range at that time. They called a week or so later with a couple that had come in, but I'd already decided to stick with my current car for another couple of years. I'll definitely go back there when I'm ready to buy.

I've been driving my 1994 Honda Accord for about 4 months now (tax season). So far I've had to replace the speed sensor, spark plugs, and wires, although this is normal as the car has 185k miles on it! This does not include the normal oil changes, because obviously, you NEED to do your regular oil changes frequently. I got the car with 10/10 interior, which is very rare now a days for a 1994 Accord. The interior is a soft beige, and looks very sleek and modern (for the year). All in all, I have put about 6,500 miles on the car so far, and do not have a problem. I still get around 28 MPG city, all day long! The car is automatic, :( I was hoping for a 5 speed but the quality was too good to pass up, but even for an automatic car, the MPG is great, and I can get to work, school, pick up m... (more)
Story
Best memory, getting this car to top out on the straight always heading to Sonora, CA from Modesto, CA. Although I have received some bad speeding tickets from the overly obnoxious Oakdale PD.
Pros
The MPG is amazing! 28 City all day baby! The interior is modern for its time era! Very roomy interior, plenty of passenger and back seat leg room. The toque is great for a single cam engine. Oh, did I mention the MPG?
Cons
I cant think of to many at this time, but ill try my best. It's 11 years old! It's a single cam engine. Antenna motor likes to break. Auto door locks make loud noises. (Seen this on every accord the same generation) Not much more I can think of. I think the biggest con is the car being 11 years old. Not much of a con for me tho, as I like older cars!

The 2009 Honda Accord is one of the best vehicles to own. I've had no issues with the car since 2009. I am fairly certain that my car gets around 24 miles per gallon, which is a MAJOR upgrade from the 14-15 miles per gallon I was getting with my former vehicle. It's a fairly big car so it is great for making road trips with my friends. I had to take apart my futon to move it to a new house, and even when the futon was 'broken down' the longest piece was just over six feet long--I let the backseat down and that piece fit like a charm. Despite its size, it isn't too big to handle. It handles very well both on the road and off. It has been the perfect car for me as a single female, but it could easily be a family vehicle as its size and design makes it extremely versatile. The car itself ... (more)
Story
One weekend my best friend and I made a road trip (a 14 hour drive) to go hiking on some trails in Arkansas. Aside from stopping at gas stations to refuel and the hiking itself, we spent the weekend living in the car. We hid under a big blanket in the backseat to change clothes and we leaned the two front seats back as far as they would go so we could sleep in it. We definitely strengthened ou... (more)
Pros
Fuel efficiency. Size. Reliability.
Cons
The headrests always felt awkward--I removed mine. Lots of buttons to adjust stereo and air--somewhat intimidating to someone unfamiliar with the car.

I have driven this vehicle 100K+ miles within 5 years. No major issues, except for a small issue with the strut, and occasional battery corrosion due to the extreme weather where I live. The car handles well, and requires minimal maintenance, in terms of time and money. This is especially good for me, as I commute a lot. I get my required oil changes, but never have any build-up.
Story
I had to drive home 1300 miles with the window down through tornadoes, rain, snow, sleet, and hail, in 17 hours.
Pros
I have driven this car across the country twice, and used to do frequent overnight trips out of state. In all weather, the car maintains high levels of performance. The only issues I have had have been with the power windows and GPS unit going in and out.
Cons
The electric issues with the GPS and window are highly annoying. Since the audio and temperature controls are operated within the GPS screen, once the GPS becomes testy, then I can no longer access the audio and temperature controls (amongst other things). Also, when the battery is disconnected from the car, all the security passwords for the GPS need to be entered. But, I bought the car used, and none of the information I needed to re-set the GPS came with the car, so I had to do some searching online, and go to the dealership. Also, my key with the attached alarm unit, broke; the case sp... (more)
