The 2007 Honda Civic was a workhorse of a car. Having owned this vehicle since they first appeared on the lot, and watching the wear and tear I put on it day in and day out, I would have to say Honda found some way to put nanite's in the engine at the very least. It's survived over 150,000 miles, and countless dings and scrapes. Most vehicles wouldn't be able to withstand a hit from a woodland creature, but somehow mine has survived both a small hog and a raccoon - and still has the get up and go it had when it was new! The only real downsides are the timing belt, air conditioning, and the sun visors. My Civic's visor broke off within a few months of purchasing the car, and never could get around to getting it replaced. Also, after about 5 years of ownership, the air conditioning died. However, that's pretty common for cars these days. However, the main thing to look out for with this car is to make sure and get the timing belt replaced at 100,000 miles, or it'll start whining at you when you try to drive it. All in all - worth every penny!

I bought this car fresh out of high school. I needed a reliable car for my summer job of doing carpet and flooring measurements and quotes. This car was perfect. Roomy backseat for all of my samples and equipment and a nice stereo system to keep me entertained in traffic. It got great gas mileage, which is a huge plus for a guy driving all around a major city. I never had any issues with performance or durability. If Honda would have stopped at this model Civic, I would have been just fine with it and bought a few more!
