I like that it is small and compact, drives very smoothly. I like the leather seats and the heated seat function. I have put almost 100,000 miles on the car and it has needed almost no repairs apart from a small sensor. It looks deceptively small, interior is actually quite roomy, especially in the trunk.

The Elantra has improved with each generation, and the newest model offers the best bang for the buck yet. The base engine is a 147-hp inline-four with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic.
