The perfect car for beginners.
I absolutely adore my Honda Civic. Her name is Josephine, and she is a dream come true. She easily accommodates 5 people without having to jam in, she has got a great amount of leg room which is a common problem for tall people like myself, and most of all, she feels innately safe. When I ride in her, I never feel as though I have to worry. She has a sturdy build to her, while still having a compact style. Her hood's not a large one, and this provides her with a huge field of view for the driver.

Great car with little quirks
I bought the car used, for a decent price, from a good family. It doesn't come with the nice bells and whistles of a modern car, or even a car of the early 2000s. Yet, it drives great and gets great gas mileage (~30mpg). The interior or the car has a decent build quality. It feels a little too plastic-y to be high end. But it is still comfortable, and there are no serious problems with the interior. Although, the rear-view mirror will no longer hold its position when driving over bumpy roads nothing is falling apart in a major way. The interior is a bit loud, however. It is hard to listen to podcasts or talk-shows on the radio when you are on the highway because of the road noise. I haven't experienced this in other cars, but it is quite apparent in this one. Also, strange side-note: the cupholder area isn't very tall, and I find it hard to put certain types of water bottles/coffee mugs down there because they won't fit! The only engine problem I've run into on this car (with 170,000+ miles) is a spark plug. The headlight did go out, and replacing it was a bit of a pain, but it wasn't anything too complicated. Any non-mechanic could handle it. The trunk is very spacious, and I haven't run into issues there. Overall, the car is great. It has some strange minor quirks, but I love it and have loved driving it so far!
