2011 Toyota Camry - Best Family Car I've Ever Owned
Having driven over 75,000 miles in my Camry, I continue to enjoy every driving moment. Outside road noise is minimal. The interior cleans easily. There is plenty of leg room for growing children, and the passenger seats are all comfortable enough for resting on long trips. Sleek look of the SE continues to be an eye catcher. Clean acceleration allows for quick traffic entry.
Story
Using this vehicle as an ambulance following a middle school football game injury will always stick with us.
Pros
Rented this exact model for a 3,000+ mile vacation trip prior to purchase. Absolute favorite feature for long-legged family members was the roominess of the leg area which provided enough space for legs as well as backpacks with activities and snacks. Current favorite is the trunk space with pass through. Plenty of room for our multi-sport equipment. Fishing poles do not have to be broken down; many fit perfectly through and keep lines from becoming tangled.
Cons
The only thing I really do not like about the Camry is the "service light" which is programmed to automatically come on every 10,000 miles as a reminder to change the oil. Since the dealership changed it in between prior to our purchase, it is on for about 5,000 miles until it is REALLY time to change the oil. That should be re-programmable.
2009 Toyota Camry - Long lasting car for drivers.
This vehicle has lasted almost 10 years. There are over 100,000 miles and it still runs really well. The price was exactly what we needed at the time. This car is great for to and from work as well as long road trips.
Story
I took it on a road trip to Colorado. It was the best vehicle due to awesome gas mileage and the ease of it on the road.
Pros
This vehicle is long lasting. It has a great color and I love being able to plug in my smart phone to listen to audiobooks or music. There are opportunities for upgrades and it came with leather seats and automatic window and door locks.
Cons
The moonroof did not work from the beginning even after being serviced. It's a little longer than I would like. I want more of a sporty look. No Bluetooth available which makes it difficult to use other than plugging it in.
