The 2015 Honda Civic is great for anyone looking for an affordable car. Parents don't need to look further for their college kids. The Honda Civic has excellent fuel economy and a very stylish interior design (much better than the Hyundai Elantra's). Everything you see on the inside can be easily seen and located.
Story
One time I went grocery shopping, and in the parking lot were many Honda Civics, many of them being the same color as my car. It took me quite a while to find my car!
Pros
The design and ergonomics of the driver's dashboard is quite helpful in making information easier to read. It blocks out much sunlight. Driving feels pretty smooth on the road, and the seats are quite comfortable, so it makes it easier to sit through long hours of driving. With the ability of the back seats to fold down, I can fit large suitcases of clothes in the back trunk whenever I travel out of state! Also, the 2015 Honda Civic has "ECO" mode, which helps save me money on gas! Another great feature about this car: it's a Honda, known for their reliability and they're one of the top se... (more)
Cons
If you're carpooling, don't expect it to be the most comfortable car in the world. It's a compact car.

This car runs well and is very reliable. It gets around 30 miles to the gallon combined city and highway. On long trips it has frequently gotten as much as 40 miles per gallon. It comes in attractive colors including blue, silver, black, dark red, gold, and a brownish grey. It looks very aerodynamic and cool, and it is easy to identify in a parking lot. The control panel is distinctive with the digital speed limit readout being above the other controls, so it is easily visible when you are driving. This is very helpful, especially at night. I find I miss this feature quite a bit when driving other cars. The six-speaker system sounds very nice for a standard system with EQ controls that allow a reasonable amount of customization. Aside from a potential and minor intermittent battery dra... (more)
Story
Driving almost two hundred miles each way to an event with a friend and blasting music, both of us singing along, all the way home.
Pros
Reliable, good mpg, large trunk, blue color, digital speed limit readout, remote entry, and auxiliary input for phone or MP3 player.
Cons
I suspect there is a battery drain somewhere, but I have not been able to find it. Sometimes the battery will get low overnight or even after a few hours, even with a relatively new battery. Also, I think the previous owner may have badly messed up the alignment beyond repair, because it has never been quite right, even after being professionally corrected. Finally, the air conditioner is a little weak at first sometimes, but once it gets going, it's fine.
