2013 Honda Civic - Classic Honda
My vehicle is a coupe. A gorgeous and sleek two door Honda Civic. I was originally looking at a 2008 Honda Civic with four doors but the interior was a bit worn. When the salesman showed me the black 2013 Honda Civic, it might have just been wearing a bow with my name on it.
Story
Like the Macklemore song, Washington State is full of people in Honda Civics. We like our reliable cars with good MPG. Well, one time I was driving on the freeway, stuck in traffic, as usual. I noticed that all the cars in the far right lane were Hondas. I drifted over to join the giant lane of Hondas, and I wasn't the only one that noticed. Non-Honda cars moved out of the lane for us!
Pros
It's newer and had less mileage on it. It came with a modern dashboard, where I could see my speed electronically, front and center. The vehicle came equipped with all weather mats and a rear camera that made backing up so much easier. Honda is notorious for reliability and for the first year that I had it, it never so much as squeaked needing any kind of maintenance. It looked fantastic with new chrome rims that stood out in the parking lot. It also came with Bluetooth capability, which I use everyday to connect to my phone to play music.
Cons
The vehicle is a two door, which can lead to cramping when there's a lot of people or stuff I need to be moving. It's a smaller car, therefore I can't make large (in size) purchases with it. The vehicle is black, so you can tell when it needs a car wash. Dirt and grime just stick to it like a magnet.
2006 Honda Civic - Love Hate Relationship
I love that Honda has done a good job with comfort in their space and seating in the 4 door sedan Civic. Making for long car rides to be comfortable and spacious, even with one car seat in the back. Fuel mileage exceeds most other competitors, and it's typically under $30 to fill up. The trunk is large and spacious. The factory stereo has clean, crisp music that flows through its speakers.
I dislike that when a bearing went out with my A/C unit, you couldn't just replace the bearing... you have to replace whole unit. Up until reaching its 10 year mark I had little to no mechanical problems. Since then, my A/C unit has been replaced as well as my starter. Furthermore, this is not an ideal car if you're a family with multiple children. One car seat fits great - multiple would be a bit t... (more)
Story
It was the vehicle we first brought our child home in from the hospital, we felt safe in using this car as the baby holler.
Pros
First would be the car color, it's not the common gold/bronze color on most other Civics. Second would be the Honda factory wheel covers, made especially for Honda wheels. Third would have to be the comfort of the seating.
Cons
Starter issues as well as having to replace the whole A/C unit versus just the one part that was the issue. The value of the car depreciated very quickly for being in the 2000s - the '90s Hondas hold the same value all said and done.

Spokane, WA Dealer Ratings & Reviews

2011 Honda Civic - Larry H Miller Downtown Honda Spokane
I had a very positive experience buying our used Honda Civic at this dealership. The whole team stayed quite late into the night for us to finish the paperwork and get approved. We didn't feel pressured to buy anything, and we were left alone for a while to walk around and look at some cars ourselves. I really don't respond positively to pressure selling, so I liked how laid-back it all felt.
2017 Honda Fit - Honda Of Burien
The dealership was able to take our trade-in at a decent value; they worked with us on price as we did not accept the initial price of the car; they allowed us to keep the aftermarket wheels that were on the trade-in and mounted them on the new car.
