Used Honda CR-V for Sale in Bakersfield, CA

This vehicle has lasted a long time for me, and even though it's 16 years old, it has not needed any serious repairs beyond the usual maintenance. I also like the body style of these older CR-Vs more than the newer ones. The boxier build gives it less blind spots. The only thing I really dislike about this car is that it does not accelerate very well while going uphill. However, I always feel very safe in this car, and as long as regular maintenance is kept up, it should last forever.

I bought a used 2008 Honda CRV in 2013. We love this car. It has plenty of space for a dog, baby and camping gear for a weekend. The car has high enough clearance to handle rough dirt roads on the way to remote camping locations. The rubber mat in the trunk area makes it easy to clean after getting dirt and mud from dog or stroller messes. We've had very few mechanical issues with the car. The main issue that occurred was an electrical problem that was causing the doors to lock randomly and not stay unlocked (so we had to manually hold the door lock open in order to open the door). There have been a couple of safety recalls involving the airbags, but those have been replaced by Honda at no cost to ourselves. For a $20,000 car, I believe we have gotten our money's worth. Generally for this car, our only costs for the month are gas and insurance. Not a lot of maintenance, which is nice for us!
