In a hot market for SUVs, Honda revealed the redesign of its popular compact CR-V crossover, giving it more aggressive looks, better aerodynamics, and more power.
Pros
Normally, the arrival of a Special Edition in one of Honda’s product lineups signals an imminent redesign. Given that the 2016 CR-V’s engineering and design date to the 2012 model year, it is a good bet that a new 2017 CR-V is in the works. You don’t need to wait. Go ahead and get a 2016, because this is a terrific compact crossover SUV. In particular, the new CR-V Special Edition is an absolute bargain, a simple, visually appealing, practical crossover that will likely last forever if you treat it right. Choosing this version of the CR-V represents a smart financial decision, too. Very co... (more)
Cons
While the Special Edition is impressive for its undeniable value, it lacks two things modern consumers want. First, it does not come with Honda’s touchscreen infotainment system, which provides access to HondaLink connected services and a navigation system. Notably, all CR-vs. have Bluetooth with streaming audio capability, access to Pandora Internet radio, a USB connection, and text-messaging support. I think the instrument panel is a bit plain.

Purchased a Honda Cr-V the first year after they re-vamped it. I love the make and look of the car. It functions well and I feel safe driving it, but I have had several issues with sensors going out on the vehicle. I have had to replace sensors for the tire pressure, air bag, and locks among others. Had extensive issues with door lock and had to go back to the dealer at least 4 times.
Story
We bought this car right before our wedding, moved into our first home with this car and brought our son home from the hospital in it. Lots of family memories in it.
Pros
It's paid off! Looks great and love the interior. Lots of space/storage for moving items and it's a pretty decent family car. Rides well and I feel safe driving with my family in it. Service/Goodwill get a 5 star rating for the most part - have had a few service issues but most were resolved after pushing for correction.
Cons
Have had to replace tires 3 times (well within average mileage). Struts have always had to be replaced twice. This car gets mainly city driving with a bit of highway. The amount of problems liken it more to a commuter car that gets excessive miles each day. Extensive problems with the door lock system. Have had sensors randomly go out - tire pressure, door locks, air bag, etc.

I don't know if I'd call it "the best", but I got what I needed out of it (a car), when I needed it, and it's in the area. I haven't personally shopped for cars before, so I can't really compare it to other dealers.

This dealership was very accommodating to my needs and desires. I didn't feel pressured at all at this location, unlike some of the other locations I have been to. I felt very comfortable making my purchase here and had no regrets.
