Reliable car
I bought this car with about 150k miles on it and have driven if for about another 20k. It requires regular maintenance, as could be expected from an older car, but I never experienced major issues. I can rely on this car to get me where I need to go. The car is basic. It doesn't have any bells and whistles (not even power locks and windows). However, it runs smoothly, never failed a smog check and does reasonable gas mileage (I would say, about 30 mpg highway). The car is compact, easy to maneuver and to park, yet it is reasonably spacious inside, with a decent-sized trunk. Putting down the back seat allowed me to transport larger items, such as a ladder or a mattress. I also like the design. Some older cars look very outdated, but the 2000 Civic does not, at least in my opinion. Overall, this car is not flashy, but it's a workhorse that does what it was made to do.

First Car, Would buy again
This was my first car after learning to drive on a 2007 Prius and 2006 Lexus RX and it drives just as nice as the Lexus. This is a very compact and maneuverable car, but the interior is very roomy. I am almost 6 feet tall and even when I sit in the back seats I have more than enough leg room. The car is supposed to get over 200 thousand miles with proper maintenance, so this will last me far past my college years.

Love it
I love my car. There is nothing I dislike about it. It runs great. I bought it used, so I had to replace a lot of the parts afterwards. I taught myself how to drive (no parents), so I crashed it a couple times. It was a cheap car, so I was able to replace the exterior. If it had been another car, I probably would have still crashed it. Replacing another car probably would have been more expensive. I see a lot of people with the same car. I saw someone with a similar car, and it was a hybrid. I've thought about getting a hybrid. I'm going to stick to gas. I'm sure the gas car is cheaper. There's no point paying for a hybrid. It's a great car.
