This is my fourth Civic, and my experience with them has been excellent. The Civic looks great feels great and drives beautifully. Other than general maintenance, I have experienced no problems with these cars. They are reliable and maintain a good resale value. Have wrecked it twice, once in back and once in front, and you can hardly tell if at all. Great gas mileage, about 25-30 mpg. It is cheap to work on and rarely ever has problems, and when and if it does, it's usually minor or just a little kink. Very reliable transportation. Fun to drive, great for learning stick shift if you're a beginner. The car I learned on, I had no idea how to drive a five speed and learned within one–two weeks. It is great for a first car. It is basic but has a nice interior. Other than that, it's a grea... (more)
Story
I purchased this car on Valentine's Day. I really like the comfort and reliability of this car. But, I've had this car since college and two moves (NC and MD). And now with two kids, I am up to 107,00 miles. It's great, basic car. My Civic has had the muffler replaced (salty roads in MD) but no other major repairs, easy to care for, and runs wonderfully. Very good for city commutes and long di... (more)
Pros
Easy to drive. Low-cost ownership and operation. In addition to being easy to operate, the Civic is highly efficient with highway fuel economy rated up to 41 mpg. I was pretty impressed with how well this car handles. It's a V4 with an econ button, so I get on average, 34-37 miles to the gallon. It's my work commute car. It's got a great dashboard, mostly digital, except for some reason the RPM gauge. It has a hidden USB connector in the center console where I plug in my flash drive and have 20 gigs of my own music that it handles just fine. I wish it would display the music art, as it dis... Cons
My only complaint about the car would be that I wish the road noise was significantly lower and that it could accelerate faster.

Honda Civic has a great value compared to the price you actually pay. You can definitely get your money's worth. It has all the necessities you are looking for in a car such as daylight lights, alloy wheels, climate control, Bluetooth and sports gear! The side and rear camera is a plus, especially if you have a hard time changing lanes in the freeway. Sound system is pretty good. It comes with AM and FM, Bluetooth, USB and HDMI ports. You can even connect your Pandora account. Both exterior and interior of the car looks elegant. The seats are fabric but easy to clean. This car is an absolute gem for a student or for someone who is under budget. For this budget you are getting a car with loads of options compared to other brands. Before this car I used to drive a Honda Accord model. Com... (more)
Story
One of the best memories I have with this car was to go to a drive-in cinema in Huntington Beach to watch a movie with my boyfriend. It was a cold night, but we turned on the car's heating and had a great time watching the movie.
Pros
I think my favorite feature of this car is the sound system. The sound is very clear, and you have a lot of options on how to connect or listen to your music such as USB, HDMI, Bluetooth, radio, Pandora, and so on. Another positive thing is the side camera which you don’t usually get for cars in this budget. It is a very helpful tool especially when driving in freeway. Moreover, I like the size of the car which is midrange. It is easy to navigate, park, and drive.
Cons
One of the things that really turned me down when I got the car was the absence of a volume knob on the sound system. You have to adjust it using the hard-plastic button on the steering wheel or by tapping/swiping the side of the screen. Another downside is the somewhat small fuel tank. You can feel up to 10–13 gallons, which is good for driving in town but not sufficient when going on road trips. Moreover, the front passenger window doesn’t have the automatic up and down feature like the driver’s one.

They were very accommodating and were willing to negotiate an ideal price. We also worked out the best payment option relative to my down payment. Customer service was great and I didn't feel pestered or pressured at all.
