Used Honda Civic for Sale in Bakersfield, CA

Initially, I just wanted a car that was okay on performance but strong in reliability and fuel economy. After doing some research, looking at reviews, and getting advice from trusted family members, I decided to look at the Honda Civic series. I was able to get a 2008 Civic at a good price and it's been my car since 2012. I tell everyone that my next car will also be a Honda Civic.

Practical but not comfortable. I have had my Honda Civic for six years so it is paid off, and I will drive it until it dies. It is uncomfortable. The seats are uncomfortable for more than five minutes. The seat back hits me in just the wrong spot, and the headrests feel like torture devices that push my head forward at an awkward angle. However, I have not had any mechanical problems. It runs like a terribly despite my waiting to change to oil until the light comes on. It just keeps going but is slow to build up speed. It may be the "green" eco boost that chokes the performance but getting on the freeway like an 80-year-old lady is frustrating. I tried calling my dad while driving the car, and he asked me if the windows were open. The road noise is incredibly loud even if driving on well paved roads. The engine has not required any work outside of the regularly scheduled maintenance. We have put an entire Christmas tree on the roof with no problems, and the paint is going strong. We have driven the car from California to Idaho overnight in the winter, going from temperate climate to snow without stopping, and the car just kept going without a hitch. It has held its value and will be in our family for years to come, despite the damage it does to my spine every time I get in the car.
