The build quality is exceptional. The car just hit 70,000 miles. I've been driving it for the past 30,000 miles, and there are no interior rattles. The interior is in great condition. The materials are high quality, easy to clean, and have held up well over time. I've experienced no issues with any of the key electronic components, including the stereo with aux and USB plug ins, windows, cruise control, and Bluetooth communication. The CRV has been extremely reliable for me as a former college student/recent graduate, driving both short and long distances for work, school, family, and leisure. Plenty of leg and head room, arm rests for the seats are a surprisingly great feature, plenty of cup holders, and a ton of storage room in the back. I like that I also have the option of folding ... Story
There is a white Honda CRV in my town that I've parked next to multiple times. I know it's the same CRV because they left a note on my windshield saying that they liked my bumper sticker (live long and prosper) and since then, they've bought one just like it. I like knowing that I have a car twin in town that I've been in the same area with multiple times without ever actually meeting the owner.
Pros
I loved all of the space the CRV offers as it allows me to drive family and friends and pets around easily and comfortably, makes trips to the grocery store more convenient when loading groceries, and has a ton of room which has made moving a breeze. I also love how well it handles in the snow and rain despite being AWD instead of 4WD. I've never once felt like I was in danger of hydroplaning or skidding. My favorite feature is the dash board lights - I've never owned a car that has a light that would tell me when I have a low tire, or exactly how low my oil is/how urgent it is that I go i... (more)
Cons
Take off doesn't feel as smooth as it did with my Toyota Solara, but it's hardly an issue.

I can always depend on my Honda CRV. It always starts right up and goes and goes and goes. It's old now—16 years old. It has over 70,000 miles—not a lot for its age, but I only drive around town. I would call this Honda the most versatile car I have ever driven. I have to carry things--sometimes my lawnmower or sometimes mulch or sometimes just the groceries. I always have plenty of room. The back seats go down so I can use the whole cargo area. I have never had any real problems mechanically with the car except for things that go bad from age. A few of the oil gaskets plus the brakes have needed attention but other than that everything keeps working. I hope I can keep this car for a long time. I love my Honda!
Story
I had to call my then boyfriend for help one day—I was stranded at the mall. I couldn't get my key out of the ignition. When he got there he fixed it—I had neglected to put the car into park, so the key wouldn't come out!
Pros
I love the cargo room! I have to haul things so that's especially important to me. One thing this older one has that the newer models don't have, is the back door—the window opens up and then the back door swings out. Most of the newer models have the whole window/door as one unit and they swing up. Well, since my back window will open while the door is still closed this allows me to carry much longer items than will ordinarily fit into the cargo, such as lumber. I can't tell you how happy I am to be able to go down to Lowes and pick up the boards I need and carry them home myself by j... (more)
Cons
Well, it's hard to find a negative but I will say that after only 13 years the little digital clock wore out. The car didn't come with a CD player—just a radio and a cassette player. The one thing that is a real con though is the tire size. It's an odd size, and it's sometimes hard to find a tire to fit. The hood is hard for me to open also, but that's true of almost every car nowadays.
