2009 Honda Pilot - A reliable, safe and comfortable vehicle

My 2009 Honda Pilot Limited is a sports utility vehicle (SUV) that offers spacious seating and a lot of comfort and features. I particularly enjoy its rugged styling, yet it is definitely at home on the highways and streets. My Pilot is built in typical Honda fashion with tight build and has a quiet running engine.
Story
I do not have any particular memories, though it has been used on two lengthy trips to Texas without any problems.
Pros
There are several things that I like about the 2009 Honda Pilot Limited. It has a top-notch sound system with several speakers. It also has a nice large GPS that is very visible and with a lot of options. My Pilot has a backup camera and sensors that help make backing the vehicle a much easier, safer experience. The seating is leather, and this has a nice smell and is also easy to clean, particularly with two boys. Finally, I really appreciate the third row of seating that comes in handy when our boys' friends come along for a ride.
Cons
The 2009 Honda Pilot Limited has a few shortcomings. My vehicle does not get particularly stellar gas mileage; if I average 19 MPG, that is on the high end. I also do not like the lack of space behind the third row of seating, though that is somewhat understandable. Some of the settings are also complex, and the dash is full of buttons to press; this vehicle has a learning curve associated with it.

We have owned our Honda Pilot since 2013. It's been a decent enough vehicle to own. I've always been impressed with the styling of the 2009 model Honda Pilots. They're attractive yet tough looking. The color is gray/silver. I've never been crazy about the color, but it was all that was available when we purchased it. It gets good gas mileage, and it's been a low-cost vehicle as far as keeping it maintained. There is a problem with the interior lights in the front that require more than a bulb or a fuse that has been obnoxious to deal with. Also, something to do with the transmission where the car will hesitate while driving really irritates me. It's a problem that all of them have supposedly. It doesn't effect the car, but it's annoying.
Story
A memorable story - I had been using this vehicle around my location and just the other day, a respectable guy that we know, complimented it. He said, "nice ride." To think that it still looks nice after seven years is pretty cool!
Pros
Positive things about this car are that it's attractive. The inside is roomy and comfortable. It gets decent gas mileage for a mid-size SUV, and it's reliable.
Cons
The transmission has some weird issues. The inside light near the front wont work without a specific pricy part. It's also not super exciting to drive. It's rough, and the radio isn't as nice as other (Bose) systems we've owned.
